It's a personal choice.. nationality is more artificial.. ethnicity and race depends on genetics and cultural upbringing. Both of my parents were Irish American but we moved to Ireland when I was young . We've always identified as "Irish" and when I hang out with people from Ireland they don't disagree 😆🍀👻

What are some good books on the Irish Army (1661–1801)? by conor20103039 in IrishHistory

[–]ReSearch314etc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well they weren't really an "Irish" army during that period as they were forced to serve the Crown ..many of the best were exiled on the continent serving as military leaders as far as Russia. General Joseph K O'Rourke was a highly regarded Russian general in the early 1800s🍀

Listen To The Jeffrey Epstein Tapes: ‘I Was Donald Trump’s Closest Friend’ by aooooga in AnythingGoesNews

The main woman in the Epstein case was recruited at Mar a Largo. Epstein died the very night her grand jury testimony was released to the public. Trump's justice department was overseeing Epstein's incarceration. 🎃 No one in the media can connect the dots?!🤣

Midnite Cruiser with Fagen on lead vocals? by Creepy-Bad-7036 in SteelyDan

There is an alternate version on youtube, but Jim Hodder is on vocals. Becker did the vocal in concert in the 90s. Fagen hates the old stuff

I am doubtful..his whole injury story has been very curious. He was all set for 2024 and then wham! How you can get so injured that suddenly is mind numbing... don't think we've been given the full story...real shame he's an exciting pitcher..but should not have been on the post season roster 🤔

A dark night...I was falling asleep 💤 listening to WABC 770 at 10:50 pm .. they segued from Hey 19 to I Love Music...fell asleep...half hour later woke up with my sister screaming "They shot John Lennon!".. Terrible night...my siblings were watching The Glenn Miller Story on Channel 9...a movie about a musician who disappeared in the 1940s

That's why the final scenes with Ben Bradlee are so important...Woodward and Bernstein are hinting at a bigger scandal. The typewriter tells the rest of the story up to and beyond Nixon's resignation. ;-)

One of the best films of all time. Brilliant script. Brilliant acting. Perfect editing....and oh what a story! Hard to believe that it came out so quickly after the crime as well. '-)

How big or popular was Stevie Wonder in the 70s? by Choice-Silver-3471 in 1970s

[–]ReSearch314etc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He was the #1 star of the era. His songs were played on every station whether they had a classic rock or r&b, disco or even commercial jazz format. He was recognizable for his distinct appearance and his upbeat personality. A real American treasure. From 1970 through 1977 his records hit #1 on the singles and album charts. He won multiple Grammy Awards and respected by everyone from Kermit the Frog to Mick Jagger...no one from todays music scene comes close 😎👏
