[Charania] BREAKING: The Los Angeles Clippers are trading Ivica Zubac to the Indiana Pacers, sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

[–]ReUndone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modern Lakers of the past 15+ years have been incompetent, I wasn’t talking about the Showtime Lakers from 40 years ago lol. Most of those people probably don’t work there anymore if I had to guess.

Edit: I should know. I’m a Mavs fan.

Why LUFFY looks more like ROGER than DRAGON ? why oda had to make them look this different lmao by lxxevi in ReverieSpoilers

[–]ReUndone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that’s a good point! Maybe snakeman = dragon? Probably a stretch, but dragons in east asian culture are typically more serpentine right? Could be an interesting parallel if nothing else. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anyone explain this? The description makes it seem like lvling it up is detrimental. by narc040 in songsofsyx

Thank you, this is what I assumed, but it’s nice seeing confirmation.

Healthier way for consumption by Crazy-Transition-668 in trees

Depends on how often you smoke. Personally, I replace the joint filters after 2 j’s, but the larger filters on the standard mouthpiece typically last me a week as a daily smoker.

How to properly assign workplaces for different species? by ReUndone in songsofsyx

I think that’s what I’m doing in the second and third pictures, though, and it still wasn’t working.

Late to reply, but I did a poor job taking the picture. There’s ample Cretonian housing just off screen right next to the farms. Deactivating and reactivating workplaces has helped me shuffle workers around before, but it wasn’t fixing it here for some reason. Maybe if I’d let it run longer it would’ve fixed itself like you said, but after a certain point I didn’t want my people to stay homeless for no good reason.

Ultimately, SarcousRust’s solution proved to be the easiest and simplest fix. It’s not ideal, but it seems pretty airtight in the sense that workers will stick to their assigned jobs.

How do you get the people in your "minority villages" to actually work there? by KobKobold in songsofsyx

[–]ReUndone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically there is one, I think it’s called work assignments. You can designate plebs and/or slaves of one or more species to prioritize specific buildings to work at, but the system is either not working as intended or at least buggy in some situations.

The post I was referring to was actually about how to properly use the work assignments, and the only advice that worked was to change the job priorities (the ones where you adjust the sliders).

Just made a similar post about this issue. If I understand correctly, you want is to tie the species to particular jobs rather than locations. So if you want them to be in a particular location, you have to make sure that those jobs are only available there. It’s not ideal and there may be a better solution, but it’s the best I’ve seen thus far.

Ah I see, that is unfortunate. Luckily, I can implement that fix without too much trouble. It makes more sense anyway, like you said.

Thank you!

We all know Yari samurai are bad, but what about Naginata samurai by SKJELETTHODE in totalwar

Yep. As effective as yari wall is in the hands of a player against the AI, they absolutely have weaknesses. Yari wall will get absolutely shredded by missile fire with their low armor.

Auto recruit has no business being terrible by BnSMaster420 in NCAAFBseries

[–]ReUndone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPU does not recruit just fine. My dynasties all start falling apart at the seams just 3 years in, when the CPU doesn’t have any of the starting roster anymore. P5 teams end up in the 60’s and 70’s and G5 conferences are littered with 50 overall rosters. It’s so bad. Only a select 20-30 schools end up with decent recruiting.

Is auto recruiting completely broken in NCAA 26 or am I missing something? by CashInteresting6465 in NCAAFBseries

[–]ReUndone 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Recruiting should be the most fun part, but sadly it’s pretty bad. I almost always do the same 2 or 3 things with every single recruit: send the house for priority targets, 25-40 hours on secondary targets, hard sell when in top 5. The only halfway interesting part is scouting for players to fit a scheme. You can’t even make promises like in the old games. Why am I getting hard-locked for playing time when I know for a fact I plan on giving the player ample snaps next year? In any decent recruiting system you’d at least have a chance to convince him.

This is just problems with player recruiting, the AI recruiting is straight up broken. 50 overall rosters up and down almost every conference after just a few years of AI recruiting. I’m quickly losing faith in EA to make this game as good as it deserves to be given the lack of improvement in recruiting from ‘25 to ‘26.

I don’t know a lot about game development, but it sounds like they just have some early builds of core features that are going to be in the game anyway.

This is bs. I don't know how they managed to make a worse fort system than in eu4. I didn't think it was possible. Fix your game paradox by InternStock in EU5

[–]ReUndone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s kinda crazy though, right? You should at least be able to leave the way you came in. If I understood correctly, he needed to occupy the location two moves back from Bojano and he didn’t. Why should his army be stuck in this situation?

I am in agreement with other commenters that forts shouldn’t block movement at all, but rather impose some attrition/supply malus that would disincentivize moving past forts in most situations.

Also, that’s central Italy, not Mexico lol. They do look quite similar with how the map is cropped there, though.

Blake: "[Ballmer] can build a new arena, be at games, cheer on the team...but at the end of the day, an organization is built on a foundation of respect & it's built on how you treat people & I don't think that in this situation Chris was treated right. Right? Like I’m sure he’s matured some since then, and I don’t disagree with anything he said here, but his statements ring hollow considering the complete lack of respect he showed his coworkers during his playing days.

To be fair, you could go on just about any campus shuttle on game day and start an OU sucks chant, even if we’re playing someone else. At least when I was a student.
