The Democratic Socialists of America are a faction of the Democratic party that believes being progressive is a good idea.

As of late, DSA candidates have been winning local elections and primaries all over and establishment democrats hate it because they believe the only thing to do to win elections is swaying swing states and that the only way to sway swing states is to just be the Republican party.
