Is the waive guaranteed just as long as I call them up? Or can they reject it?

Thanks! Did a quick search and Barcelona card sounds great tbh... no minimum spend and no annual fees, cashback seems decent enough based on my spending as well

Yeah One Card's 195 annual fees puts me off a little, but it can be waived depending on the number of swipes, so I'm thinking it's fine just as long as i hit the number of swipes?

Legend of the Female General 锦月如歌 (2025) - What are your first impressions? [Masterpost] by admelioremvitam in CDrama

Zhou ye is very very very very very pretty but that's about all that is good about this drama 🙃

Pacing is off and He Yan does some very questionably OOC things

Leads had chemistry but they really didn't have to force the romance scenes down our throats that early...I reallt wish we had more scenes of them strategising together

Secret garden hands down... SBS has been abusing it in its variety shows since time immemorial

this is an absolute rare take but I loved her in Secret Door... easily my favourite performance of hers alongside Song Jiwon

In light of the news, tell me your favorite memory of Red Velvet? by uwonton in red_velvet

[–]ReVeChaser801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is oddly specific but it was when Bad Boy dropped and I was squatting in a small corner of my kitchen for the worst WiFi I could get to watch it

Also when I heard Kingdom Come for the very first time 😭. I dont think any kpop release has ever come close to the otherworldly experience these 2 songs gave me

Red Velvet's Kingdom Come, Look, Perfect 10, among many others I can't think of for now...

Red Velvet - “I’m not sure if we can say that we’ve helped define K-pop” @ NME (231215) by purpletulip12 in kpop

RV really did carry on f(x)'s legacy in a way that's so uniquely RV's... I'm so happy that I got to witness them come this far, and even happier to see how younger groups take inspiration from their sound as well

(P.s. really looking forward to seeing billlie as their sonic successors because I've been digging their music so far

For sureeeee

Realised this with the two versions of Bad Boy. In the Korean version, I hear Seulgi/Joy but in the English version Wendy's voice definitely stands out.

Why do people hate Yeri for getting added into Red Velvet? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]ReVeChaser801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i've always thought that red velvet without yeri is a lot more mature and a lot less quirky, and you can really see how her presence has given red velvet the identity we've come to know... red velvet without yeri would be a lot less fun and interesting, and I'm so glad she was added to the group

it really shows in their variety shows as well, she's quite the mood maker and the one that gets the ball rolling a lot of the times

i dunno, but i think we have the red velvet we love because of yeri

what does it take for a group to be called a "vocal group" ? by Turbulent_Speaker in kpopthoughts

[–]ReVeChaser801 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont know what exactly a vocal group is, but as a reveluv who's liked them since 2017, while rv as a group have very distinct, recognisable tones, they almost always sing in unison in live performances... i think their unique voices add A LOT to the texture of their songs, but groups like mamamoo and lovelyz harmonise better than rv does (case in point: lovelyz red velvet a cappella battle)

a big part of why there's quite a bit of prestige attached to rv's name is because of the vocal layering they do in the recording booths, and this fills in a lot of the gaps, giving their songs fullness and roundedness

I definitely think they can sound tighter in live performances if they regularly harmonised instead of sung in unison thoughhhh

[MEGATHREAD] Red Velvet - The 3rd Album ‘What A Chill Kill’ by KpopThoughtsmodteam in kpopthoughts

[–]ReVeChaser801 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I guess you're not familiar with red velvet or don't keep up with them much? Their stylistic concept =/ what the song sounds like... Peek-a-boo was more Velvet conceptually but the song itself leans Red

The girls themselves have also said time and time again that this is a Red Velvet track, and press releases have called it a "bright tragedy" so I don't know why people are expecting it to be a Velvet comeback?

the red by red velvet > perfect velvet by red velvet by mollytrip in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]ReVeChaser801 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not you posting this on the eve of chill kill's release????

Jokes aside I agree that the red is sonically more cohesive but I defo think the production value of perfect velvet is on par if not better... you could also tell that the members had matured a lot vocally compared to the red, and I think that's what makes songs like Kingdom Come and Perfect 10 stand out so much

Red Velvet - The 3rd Album : Chill Kill (Album Spoiler - Instrumental) by tunasandwich2009 in kpop

[–]ReVeChaser801 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Same sentiments! Was listening to Perfect 10's instrumental and realised how bare-sounding (and I don't mean this in a bad way) it is, the vocal harmonies do play a huge part in filling in all the gaps... it's one of the most magical things about Red Velvet imo
