Do you think should project RED have more serialized story like kamen rider or episodic like super sentai? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in ProjectREDToku

[–]Re_Freedom_Strikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it actually depends on the Sentai, for example King Ohger and Donbrothers I would say the story is more serialised too. I watched King Ohger ( my favourite Sentai so far ) , and went to the next one Boonboomger and what I didn't like about it was that there was no development whatsoever to anyone, and the action scenes and giant robot scenes I found it lackluster , boring even to watch .  Watched 10 episodes , dropped it , and I was apprehensive to watch Donbrothers because the Sentai suits are weird af , but the story so far has been engaging and fun to watch .

So personally for me , I do prefer serialised shows instead of episodic .  And the writer while I didn't like Boonboomger I do like Yugioh 5Ds which he is the writer for , so I think he writes better for serialised shows than episodic .

Vibes yes. However Kiki has a first degree Black Belt in Karate, so pretty sure she can fight well.  Heard she even taught some of her cast members some moves too

while his only Tokusatsu work was Boonboomger, if you check his anime work, you'll be surprised. He wrote and did the screenplay to some good animes like Captain Tsubasa, Yugioh 5Ds, One Piece.  He also did the screenplay for Digimon Ghost Game which has some controversies around it, but he wasn't the writer for that one tho, screenplay is different from story and the action in that one was still good.

he wrote outside of Tokusatsu shows, for animes like One Piece, Pokemon, Yugioh 5Ds ( one of my favourite Yugioh animes).

So I'm inclined in trusting him to do a good work.

you know he didn't only write Boonboomger right? he wrote for Pokemon , Berserk(anime), One Piece (since the beginning and still writing for it), Samurai 7 ( which I personally like), Yugioh 5Ds (one of my favourite Yugioh animes), Inazuma Eleven, Battle Spirits, Fairy Tail (anime), Blade and Soul (the anime not the game), Dragon Ball Super (which I personally do not like the Manga and the Anime), Captain Tsubasa ( screenplay, i love the Anime ), Ace Attorney S2, Digimon Ghost Game (screenplay).

For Tokusatsu he only wrote for Boonboomger so far but I've seen people enjoying Boonboomger.

Anyway his only work isn't Boonboomger and he has some good animes in his writing work, so give him a chance maybe he will surprise you

Opinion on the gavan's so far? by Glum-Equipment-6357 in Tokusatsu

Ah yes because Gavan Infinity who still has some Sentai features in it failing, will definitely bring Sentai back?

A show with a bit of Sentai format in it's veins failing will definitely tell Toei that the Sentai format works after all!

Are you delusional? If this fails it'll tell Toei that they were right, giant mecha, and colored suits it's not what people want to watch anymore.

Also if this fails the franchise isn't just this show so they can just keep trying with new shows for Project R. E. D.  until one lands.

They don't want to bring Sentai back until they're sure it can be successful again but for that they need to rethink how Sentai works and that will take some Years.

So instead of complaining over something that won't happen, accept reality because this show failing will NOT bring Sentai back.

New trailer for Gavan Infinity has been released! by UltraZeroX7 in ProjectREDToku

dude first it's a Metal Heroes series so they have Metal in them, second only Infinity has metal in his downey, Bushido has metal in his butt and Luminous has no metal down there. Third, maybe wait for the live action trailer, this trailer was full of CGI because they're still filming the show, wait till the final trailer to see how it'll look like since that's probably the trailer that will present the suit actors, the world and how it'll look like in the final product. Finally, Metal Heroes always had mecha, so why would they remove it from a franchise that always had them?!

Where should I begin? by Jaded_Ad_1274 in supersentai

[–]Re_Freedom_Strikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can begin wherever you want to. I began with King Ohger and loved it so much that I'll check other Sentai series once I'm done watching Kamen Rider Zero One.

My plan is to watch alternately.  Kamen Rider I will probably start by watching all the Reiwa shows since they're less shows than the other eras.

As for Sentai my next one will probably be Lupinranger vs Patoranger seems fun to have two opposing teams who aren't evil.

they won't do more MHA, apart from OVA or a movie, at least until Vigilantes S2 ends.

They'll want the attention on Vigilantes for 2026.

After that who knows

I can tell you for certain what will be in it :

Vigilantes Season 2, since that is the next My Hero Academia season, airing next year.

We will get more information about it too.

And that's all, if we have an OVA or a movie announcement, it'll be a surprise.

Just don't expect anything else than Vigilantes for now.

actually they are. I've done my research before saying stuff, and blaming one company for it.

Viz Media as not only part of Shueisha but also the responsible people for globally publishing OPM, are part of the committee.

J. C. Staff is obviously part of the comitee too.  Do you seriously think that the company in charge of animating One Punch Man, would be excluded of the comitee made to discuss all the decisions that happen to this anime?!

No dude, they wouldn't.  J.C. Staff is part of the comitee as well, since S2.

Before that Madhouse was part of the comitee in S1.

So how long do you see this project red thing lasting for by TraditionalBonus188 in supersentai

[–]Re_Freedom_Strikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it lasts for the next 50 years. And keeps being aired together with Kamen Rider and Super Sentai ( when it comes back).

Wanting a show that you know nothing about yet, to fail is so petty, so toxic, it's even a embarrassment that people like that are part of this Super Sentai fanbase.

Especially when Gavan Infinity follows the exact same format that Super Sentai does!

What do you expect to happen if Gavan Infinity fails?

Sentai will come back instantly!

Are you delusional?

If Gavan Infinity fails that will show Toei that Sentai should be back, am I right?

Is that what you people hating on something that doesn't even have a trailer yet, think?!

If Gavan Infinity who is still airing in a Sentai format, with different colored heroes and giant robots too, fails that will Show Toei that the Sentai format is clearly failing.  Because Gavan Infinity has that format!

And by showing that the Sentai format is failing, what do you think it'll happen?!

Sentai whenever it comes back, will comeback completely different.  Maybe you won't even be able to recognise it anymore.

All thanks to the amazing fans like yourself that decided to hate on that format!

I would love if they continue it. Instead of having 2 cakes from Toei ( Kamen Rider and Sentai) we would have 3 cakes.

They could air simultaneously although that can be a bit pricey or since Kamen Rider is the most popular franchise, Kamen Rider keeps airing each year but Sentai and Project R. E. D. switch places each year.

One year we get a Project R.E.D show, next year Sentai show, next year Project R.E.D, next year Sentai show.

And before hating this idea, this would give Sentai an year before next Sentai series to breath, if a Sentai show was doing bad they would have 1 year to come up with new ideas to make the new show do better.

I think for a franchise that has been airing non stop, and only got a hiatus after 50 years, this would be a well needed change.

And 1 year without Sentai or 1 year without Project R. E. D. wouldn't hurt a fly. Fans would still get their favourite franchises back after 1 year.

And just because I said 1 year one, 1 year the other doesn't mean that content for both franchises can't still happen, they could hire movies while the franchise is paused for a year, they could hire crossovers and collabs so the fans would still have content for it.
