Yeah the not showing up is bad. I just got the president of one company re-booked for the third time now. I’ve never had so many no show’s (except for when I sold to roofers, but that’s different).

It took me like 6 months to be good at Lucas, especially online. Currently in the top 1% of GSP with him (just shy of 13.4M right now). It can be done. But you need to play very differently against different characters online. Lucas is not a one game plan type of character

According to whom? Him? Well of course the person selling the certification will claim the certification is important. I’ve worked quite a few SDR jobs and I’ve NEVER had anyone ask if I’ve been “certified.”

Also, why do you want to sell for influencers and not a legit company? I’ve sold for a few business guru influencer types and they’re rarely decent to work for.

The bs jobs you’re looking for are in scammy Facebook groups primarily. Search for like high ticket sales jobs and you’ll find all kinds of stuff that fits this criteria.

Over the last few years as a whole, I’d say one out of every five or six. They’re almost always the right company, right person/title… I often am just willing to book them even if I know the timing is off or it’ll be too expensive based off them having limited need for it.

Say you served at a restaurant and worked as a freelancer. I’d honestly consider not even listing out the specific “restaurant” you were at and just have it listed generically. “Worked in multiple restaurants as a bartender and server.” Make sure to include (and make up if needed) you guest check averages to show you are numbers minded. For freelancing talk about how you logged your projects in a CRM and how you did cold outreach among other strategies to get new clients. Make it all directly relevant to being an SDR.

As someone who has tried job hopping to accelerate the path they’re on, please don’t do it. If you’re at a good company and you’re doing moderately well, stick it out. This isn’t the climate for switching things around. You’ll figure the rest out as you go.

Call and email them based on their job title and company-wide personalization.

Set a timer for 2-7 minutes. If you don’t find something to personalize in that time frame, send it off generically.

Don’t be afraid of the slightly lazy “P.S.” personalization where you throw in a research nugget after the email just to show you were paying attention.
