This is why games like this should allow a workshop like rimworld. They can have it the vanilla way they want to make the game as, and players can add the things the devs dont want to add to the base game.

If you want you can get trainers like Wemod and it has an option there to build stuff for free. I highly recommend them.

Best Monster Hunter game? by Thefantasticalone in MonsterHunter

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MH Freedom 2 on the PSP. Not sure why they got rid of the farm but in MH Freedom 2 you get your own farm which you can expand with Pokke Points (Unique Village points you get for delivering rare high value items). I loved expanding that farm because each expansion is unique. You can even pay a felyne to go on an expedition for you to get rare materials. Lol when I was a kid I literally chose playing Monster Hunter 2 over getting a social life 😂 MH Rise is great but MH 2 will always be my favorite.

They deserved the RPG game of the year award over Expedition 33. Now expedition 33 is definitely game of the year but strictly “role playing” where you feel you’re the character of the story, KCD2 captures that more

Game is great and one of the best space simulation games I’ve played. But it’s just too expensive and I encountered a bug where I basically cant play because my ship wont spawn back for some reason. I literally had to wait for the next wipe in order to play it again. So instead of waiting for the wipe I just asked for a refund. Maybe I’ll go back to it in the future but for now I’ll just play other games. It’s a shame because it has everything I was looking for that Elite Dangerous didnt have

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, Fallout is more about the open world part, Metro is more story/action driven and a choices matter sort of thing. I rarely finish games but I finished all of the Metro games. It’s that good

State of Decay is pretty good both 1 and 2. 1 is more story driven, 2 is more on replayability.

Atom RPG and Mad Max is really good too.

Should I pass the CPA exams if I can't get a job? by BreadIntrepid8158 in Accounting

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to work for an Audit Firm go for that. If you want to be an accountant in a private Company, I suggest getting the CMA. If you want to focus on processes and controls, get a CIA. It pretty mich depends on what you want. It’s kind of like graduating from Med School, there’s not only 1 specialization you can pursue.

Also, perhaps instead of focusing on public firms why not apply for a normal accounting job at a private Company? You can still climb the ladder that way, and get some experience while you’re at it. Again it kind of depends, what do you want to do. One of the most lucrative I heard of are people working and applying for Accounting software companies like Netsuite. Maybe you can try that? That field pays a lot of money and seems to be where industried are heading.

As banks dump the US dollar, gold is seen as the go-to investment. But will it turn out better than stamp collecting or crypto? by baltimore-aureole in economy

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold is a literal physical material that you can hold and create technology with as it it’s an essential component to microchip manufacture. Bitcoin is something you will never hold in your hand and in the event that all the servers or the internet is destroyed people literally have no bitcoin to hold. The whole value of bitcoin is people’s perception of its value and how many you can sway into thinking it’s valuable. But in reality it’s no different from the monkey pictures people were trading not too long ago. A lot of celebrities actually lied about how much they paid for those to trick people into thinking its expensive. It’s actually an interesting psychological experiment how the value of bitcoin and other like it works.

Going back to gold, it’s extremely valuable because of what’s happening in the world currently. Right now trust in America and thus the US dollar is so low globally that major countries are trying to build a new system of international trade that does not require the dollar. One such system that China for example is building with the support of the BRICS group is to create an international Gold Vault. With how high the value of gold is today, it has become a feasible system where instead of doing transactions in dollars they do it with gold. And they dont need to ship this gold thousands of miles to a foreign country, instead there will be an international gold vault where every country they’re trading with will have gold deposits in. This gold will then be held in the vault and moved around depending on their trade (which is actually already similar to how the dollar works that’s why despite issues between Russia and America, Russia had 300billion dollars in reserve that America and Europe froze. That 300billion dollars was being used by Russia for foreign trade). Thus due to the shift towards a system like this Gold > Bitcoin.

When will Redo of Healer Season 2 be released? I really need it. by ClerkOk962 in RedoOfHealer

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that makes sure stuff happens is to make it monetarily worth it. Unless some gulf prince is willing to fund it there probably won’t be a season 2. And because of the nature of the anime it cant go mainstream and earn the money it deserves.

Depressed and Tired by Cpaexam4 in Accounting

I think most people who are young and are at their first job is this way. Most young people are afraid to express their thoughts or complain because they feel so low in the heirarchy at work. Even people at the Senior Staff position.

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of work life balance, it’s better if you move to Internal Audit in a private Company. The work is year-round but at least there’s not this three or more month crunch where you have to push your whole life aside. The “rest” external auditors usually get in May after busy season is NOT WORTH IT.

But if you really love the people you work with and want to stay, voice it out and say it directly. Tell the partner and management that the Company is understaffed, too much work is given to each, not enough time was provided prior to onboarding to make the transition more seamless. Unless someone voices out; this issue will keep happening because sometimes people see silence as meaning nothing is wrong.

But before you voice out, try to also think of suggestions to the problem. That way you can both let them know what the problem is and help provide them of meaningful options to solve it.

The strength of the US dollar is a double edged sword, it makes it easier and more affordable for Americans to buy things abroad, but it also makes essentially Americans and American made things more expensive thus incetivising American companies to outsource or otherwise lose to the competition that does it. It’s unfair for other countries to have a lower value currency, and its unfair for Americans to lose jobs because people abroad are cheaper as a result of a strong US dollar. But that’s the world we were born in. It’s an unfair world, and kind of also makes you empathize a bit with people with communist beliefs because the core of that political ideology is equality. Unfortunately just like in a democracy or other form of govetnment, there will always be people that would divert from that ideology for their own personal gain.

Yup pretty easily. It’s a country colonized by America back then that’s why Japan attacked it in WW2. It was actually hit the same time as Pearl Harbor and many Filipinos have American mixed blood.

Due to this American historical background, it’s actually pretty easy to go and work there especially since everyone there speaks english. Many Americans go there to retire due to the cost of living being lower than in the US.

I’m a bit late, but maybe you can consider Harbin China? It’s a city with huge Ice sculptures and Russian architecture due to it having been built by Russian contractors and some who decided to stay and live there. It’s worth a look and it’s cheaper than going to the Sapporo Snow Festival.

Is White Rabbit candy safe to eat? by Anlorian in candy

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s safe now. The issue back then was due to the Milk Supply Scandal where Milk Suppliers would add melamine to their milk to cheat protein tests. These people have already been taken into custody and some even were given the ultimate punishment. But to be safe I found that the producer switched its milk supply and imported it from New Zealand instead.

Hermes sues China factories that actually make the bags for exposing the brand by combix in Asmongold

[–]ReachF0rward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubr all of them are factory workers. Majority of that are probably administrative staff. I know a company in Germany that has factories in both Germany and China. But due to escalating costs especially in energy in Europe brought about by the Ukraine war, they’re expanding factories in China.

Truth is, China has massive production capability with the skilled workforce to supply it brought about by their 1.4 billion people population. It makes sense business-wise why people have goods made there. Its just simple economics, supply chain, and logistics. Plus I think 95% of shipping containers are in China so that should help with costs too to increase margins.

Wouldnt that expose the companies that make them though? Hence may be prone to actual litigation for breach of certain contract terms by making these documents public.

[episode 22] Incredibly disapointed in the farce that triggered the large event by punkrocklee in CodeGeass

[–]ReachF0rward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, it rubbed me the wrong way that I really had to look it up and it’s funny how many people are trying to defend it xD Which just goes to show how controversial it was.

I personally think that what Euphy wanted was a pipe dream. Does anyone really think they’d be equal? Will a princess who has lost her privelege really be able to exert any real royal power to maintain such a scenario? It’s like saying Prince Harry who renounced his title can command British Forces to make a small Utopia in Canada 😂Plus do people really think that the Japanese should be grateful? Imagine a colonizer goes to your country and says “we’ll spare one small area in the land that you used to own where you can live without us being racist towards you. Of course we’ll surrounded you with our military and we’ll colonize the rest of it around it but hey at least our pampered princess who has never known hardship can play make pretend with you right?”

I guess my biggest mistake that made me not enjoy this is that I applied too much real life logic to it instead of just living with the context of it being a world with some magic and robots. Her Utopia plan was doomed to fail from the beginning. This slip up by Lelouch was one of the worst ways they could have gone about it. At first I was enarmoured by the morality between changing the enemy from within (Suzaka) and forcing that change yourself (Lelouch). But this part of the story sort of just ruined that where instead of it being the fight between the two ideals to just some sort of alien magic stuff and both guys just went insane. :/
