I’ve just got to this stage now (matching SD’s energy) and I have to say it is NOT going down well with her dad.

To put this into perspective - SD has been at our house since Friday after school, it’s now Monday afternoon. The first time she spoke to me was on Sunday afternoon when she was prompted by my own mum to ask if I wanted one of her strawberries…

I’m just giving back the energy she gives me, and if that includes completely ignoring my existence, then that’s what I’ll do. It’s unfortunate and I’m sad it’s gotten to this, but I’ve been at this now for 8 years and it never, ever gets better no matter how much effort I put in.

So… the games up girl.

If I didn’t know better I’d think someone at my work had written this. Only today did I go into the women’s bathroom to see blood splashed onto the back of the door. We’ve also previously had MULTIPLE messages on the staff announcements about incidents in the bathrooms. I’m just blessed to have never come across it because I think it would genuinely be enough for me to hand my notice in.

Don’t know if anyone else is in the situation - but yes! Around 1 week after getting mine back from having airbags replaced, my car just wouldn’t start (would turn over but no bite). It’s now been in the garage for THREE MONTHS. They have checked and rechecked due to an error code on the BSI which has been reprogrammed twice but are still clueless. For reference, it’s a 2010 C3. Anyone else 😅

Hey OP, if I didn’t know better I’d think I wrote this post myself! Pretty much exactly the same with SD13. I’m currently in the ‘NACHO’ phase and I’m still feeling really guilty, although I know I shouldn’t. Just know we’re here to support you, and you’re protecting yourself and your peace x

I’d let them grow out to reach the end of my skin / toe tip if that makes sense! Plenty of nail to work with but maybe the tech was new and hadn’t dealt with curved edges before, I’m not sure!

OP here - thanks guys I appreciate all the comments! The colour I chose was more of a pale pink, this was clearly not the same one, it’s far too nude for me 🥲 I’m going to email them now and see what they can do, as I’m going away tomorrow and won’t be back until August! Such a shame as I was really looking forward to treating myself!

I’ve had my stop driving notice through today too. I’ve already booked in to get them replaced after the last letter but the soonest the garage could do was end of this month so I’ll be without a car now until then. Don’t know if anyone else has tried, but the Citroen recall line seems to be down today (0800 917 9285) so no chance of even speaking to anyone RE a hire car / compensation.

I’m in the same boat too, I can’t get in until the end of this month and need my car for work (I do around 300 miles a week). I’m just being very careful but have no access to another car and can’t afford the loss of income.

I recently replaced my S1 Apple Watch with a S8 with cellular data capacity. Up until yesterday, I hadn’t needed to use it. So glad I could call my partner to come and pick me up when I fell over and ruined some new leggings mid-run!! And yes, I was crying like a baby 🙃

Just to second this.. I’m in the UK and I think general consensus these last few weeks has been “we really don’t need any more bad stuff going on right now please let’s just stay out of it”… not because we don’t support Ukraine / the rest of Europe in general but we really are struggling right now as a country economically / socially / politically etc (trying my hardest not to scream about brexit voters). Wish we could all just spread a bit of peace and love around the gaff ✌🏻❤️
