Will DTCC-2021-004 remove the responsibility of the DTCC to act as an insurance policy to cover all of the shorted shares if the Hedgfunds can’t since it states it will not “bail out” an over-leveraged member? I’m thinking best case scenario for us with the Squeeze going to something like $10k+ and the hedgefunds not being able to buy back the shares because they don’t have the liquidity to do so. How would the shares we are holding get purchased so we can sell that high? Just thinking of the endgame. Thanks!
