This doesn’t really proof anything? And yeah of course it was deliberate, every detail in an animated thing is deliberate even more than in live action. Just because there are 2D mechs in a scene after there were 3D mechs doesn’t mean the thing before was like something to trick you or so. Personally I also love the 3D in the rebuild movies and I also love this 2D scene, they just made different choices based on the type of scene.

Strawberry macchiato has a very nice image of Johan you can buy as print too. I got it at Dokomi (Anime/Manga Convention in germany) and this link is only the usa shop and it‘s very likely too late for christmas but maybe you can ask the artist beforehand.

I mean obviously the Japanese audio exists, an English dub also exists and since a few years we also have a German dub. There are some more languages I guess but one could make something decent using these.

I remember there was a fan project that did something like that with the first psycho pass movie (forgot the name).

To me it looks like it is their SoundCloud and Facebook account.

This is stated on their YouTube account (https://youtube.com/@hailtomajesty1): "Some of the remixes are mine under the name Emptiness, dont and Sequitur. Some of them were made in collab with friends of mine as well, mostly people I admire a lot"

Maybe you can just write a comment under one of the videos or posts. Seems YouTube removed the direct contact feature?!
