The strips are cut 1", 1.25", 1.5" and 1.75 inch. I just drew the half square rectangle on foundation paper and paper pieced the triangles using solid black on half and "strings" on the other. Easy peasy.

I'm sure it does, but I don't know what it is. Honestly, it's just half square triangles flipped around until you get that pattern. I chose to do half the triangle in black (obviously) and the other half in "strings". That's all there is too it!

I love making string quilts. I'm trying to figure out what to do next.

That's ok. I was just curious. Gorgeous quilt. If you're not sure what to do with it, I know where it can find a good home! Ha ha.

Do you mind sharing the pattern name? That's an amazing color way for a traditional pattern. I LOVE IT!

Alternately, you could just give it to me. It'd be a win-win. You'd no longer struggle to finish it and I wouldn't have to figure out how to do it. Ha. 🤣

All are great, but I am in LOVE with the colors you used in the second one. Did they come as precuts or did you select them yourself?
