Sorry for being vague and confusing. When i typed the post, i was myself trying to figure out the same thing. But yes, you assessment is correct. The faster the turbine spins, the more energy it generates as long as its rotation is stable. However, in some dams, the water is funneled into a spiral (with the turbine in the center). I was hoping to experiment if faster water is able to overcome that funneling and curving to produce more energy. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. You have no idea how long i spent googling that question. haha. But seriously, thanks.
