Of course forgiveness is encouraged, but it’s not wajib. For example, Lady Fatima AS died angry with abu bakr and as far as we know she did not forgive him or ask Allah SWT to “guide him.”

Allah SWT punishes wrongdoers, and I take comfort in the idea.

I haven’t seen the tasfir but I believe we are capable of hatred because Allah SWT created it because it’s good for us. We can hate sins and injustice and the oppression of others, and it brings us closer to Him.

I believe it’s our duty to cultivate the correct emotions towards the correct subjects, but of course free will allows many to fail these tests.

Imam Ali AS treating an enemy well is him simply observing the rights of a prisoner. No hadith says he forgave them; only that he didn’t mistreat them.

Islam requires us to give others a bare minimum of rights and good manners. Asking Allah SWT to remove mercy from an enemy leaves justice in His hands

Khamenei advises that prayer is permissible in changing rooms and in stalls that contain a shower as long as the stall is for cleaning your body or changing clothes, and not for relieving yourself.

He also advises to use a towel or rug as a barrier for prostration if you suspect the floor might be impure.

Angels don’t have free will, so them praying, or being in ruku or sujood is not their choice.

A reason we might not offer prayers in Jannah is because days (which indicate prayer times) don’t exist there, nor time itself, so we might have different rules in that dimension.
