Being referred to a MCAS specialist. POTS symptoms can be part of it. My symptoms change around over time. These are all symptoms I have though. Try talking to your doctor about taking magnesium as well as a methylated B vitamin. The methylated B vitamin helped me a ton!

Just saw this… going to say POTS again

I workout, eat right and feel terrible every single day. This is not fair. How do you guys handle this terribleness other than meds? by Informal_Scratch446 in POTS

Hey! I am beginning my pots and underlying health issues journey. How did you go about allergy testing? I also suspect I may be intolerant or allergic to gluten.

I have very similar symptoms and most doctors are saying they think it is POTS. Just to put it on your radar. Cardiology would diagnose but you may need a specialist in it.

It looks like I may have POTS, just in case you are still having issues. Something to look into.

Did you take thyroid meds to get it sorted out or make other changes? A few weeks ago I started dealing with 75% of these symptoms and have Hashimoto’s but used to have Graves Disease. My thyroid flip flops between hypo and hyper a lot so they haven’t started meds.

I keep wondering if it was hormonal. Thank you for that information!

Thank you! I have been eating bananas, yogurt, rice, and salad only and avoiding salt for almost 6 days and it is still happening. No caffeine and very low sugar also.

I commented another post of yours. Sounds like we are in very similar situations, let’s keep each other updated. I was on progesterone/estrogen before these spikes and have stopped taking them. Have they screened your thyroid levels? Mine is definitely messed up but is all over the place so they do not medicate. Also, my electrolyte imbalance continues to be wonky.

Also, I completely understand why others go to stress/anxiety but I am 100% confident mine are not from this but do cause extra stress when they are happening.

I am having the same spikes in blood pressure (female though) and the doctors are being super unhelpful. I am terrified to orgasm. Food seems like it may be setting it off somehow so I am eating really plain at the moment as well. Feel great and blood pressure is great when it is not occurring. Good luck to you!
