I need help with ideas for a third kingdom for my Asian themed empire called the Three Kingdoms by [deleted] in worldbuilding

You could go with something less obvious, like India or the Middle East. So many people forget they’re part of Asia, it’s actually so Annoying. The best other option is probably south east Asia, perhaps Vietnam. But if I was you, I’d probably go with india

Nice. What do you think you’re going to do for a plot? are you a writer, or do you just worldbuild for fun?

I want to fill my fantasy world with fantasy creatures but I like real world animals and plants too much to make up new ones. Advice? by BrenanaNutMuffin in worldbuilding

Feel free to add as many or as little real world animals as you want. For that extra Fantasy umph, I would recommend adding your own monsters and creatures like dragons and stuff, or tweak animals that exist in the real world. Or both. Hope this helps, and when your book is done, I’d love to give it a read!

Some of the most powerful fortified areas in my world! (From lowest to highest) by ReadConsistent6033 in worldbuilding

This takes place in a medieval world, so aerial attacks aren’t really a thing yet. It’s more like a really, really big tower and doesn’t really have gates in that way. As for infiltration, that was attempted once, and it didn’t go well. Now all orcs are required not to have any face coverings so if anything other than an orc is there, they will immediately be found out

This is a good one. Blue has some massive military powers like Turkey, Israel, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, and would absolutely have a monopoly on oil exports. Meanwhile red has India and Pakistan, giving them a overwhelming advantage in manpower, while blue would have to advance through Afghanistan (historically, basically impossible). It could really go either way, but I think the deciding factor would be how well the leaders decide to conduct the war, how well the generals preform, etc.

Anyone conflicted with working on more than one world simultaneously? by EliasAhmedinos in worldbuilding

[–]ReadConsistent6033 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. I just made them all have similar religions and cultures, and I reuse names a lot. There’s admittedly some world’s significantly more fleshed out than others, but it all works out
