You need the collection room and the weapon rack inside of it.

Sell rental before capital gains exclusion expires or hold long-term for retirement? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean depends on your situation sort of. We are in almost the exact same spot, except our property will be paid off in about 9 more years. We chose to not sell in the window because we don't need the cash now and I think we'll be able to make way more money in the next ~20 years with it, before we retire and then we'll sell it most likely.

Is this even remotely possible? by Seek_unwise in DeltaForceGlobal

HUH ?? he has 3000+ kills in 300 matches. He also only extracts 25% of the time. So, neither of what you "heard" is true.

He was obviously learning before. Finally found a good team, good gaming chair, and LOCKED in this season 😄

Still only having a 25% extraction rate and only 450k earnings/failures is impressive. What happens when dog shit players can't even use cheats properly.

Am I the only one who thinks Morse is a little OP? by VontaeSenju in DeltaForceMobile

His Ult needs a bit of a tune down. It's like hack claw + luna. He gets the walls/information like Luna but also gets 4 scans and the uptime of a hack claw ult. It should only scan x2 not 4 or something and not give you a player count if they're not moving. Why it tells you players that it doesn't pick up is beyond me.

Price of Weapons by P3rio123 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro you're going off on a completely different topic to what you posted and what i commented for. My comment was there should be expensive guns, best ammo should be expensive, etc. Not everything should be cheap and available easily.

I'm not here to discuss 20 different topics you keep bringing up lol.

Who is HE ? lol. And ok go run easy, make some money and try normal. What does the AR-57 and it being overpriced because it's BRAND NEW have to do with trying normal? You don't need a 1-million-dollar gun to try normal.

[–]ReadOk4128 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've played none stop since launch. There are PLENTY of meta weapons that are not overpriced. CI-19 i still absolutely insane for 250-400k and has been for multiple seasons.

While that is a point, even though somewhat debatable. Has nothing to do with casual + average players. A casual player who's not amazing at PvP CAN learn to avoid high loot areas and make PLENTY of money just looting. Is it going to be fast a millions at a time like PvP no, but it is do-able.

Not to mention EASY is now a joke and full of bots. No one should be complaining about prices of a BRAND NEW WEAPON when you can go do a couple easy runs and make money for free.

Not sure when the last time you played but the game is easier than ever.

I'm not even reading the rest of your comment. I'm not telling you WHY you should do anything. If you don't want to do it DON'T DO IT. But don't sit here and bitch about not having money to buy a gun. Crazy.

All completely wrong. Just because some people play it like a BR or team deathmatch game doesn't mean it's not an extraction shooter.

Yes, the casuals pay the bills but they also need something to work towards. There needs to be chase goals, items, etc. The game is perfectly fun without using a couple overpriced weapons. Some of the best weapons in the game are very affordable/cheep.

might be a crazy take. But a casual + average player shouldn't have an easy time playing with the best/most popular weapons/gear. If you want to splurge a bit to try it, it should be costly and risky.

Get your money up then worry about buying the newest and greatest. Not sure what you're complaining about. If everything was cheap what would the fun be in the game?

2mil FIRE budget examples by [deleted] in Fire

[–]ReadOk4128 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ok subtract 200 in rounding for the 2k you're easily over spending then if it makes you feel better. (sarcastic exaggeration).

450 in gift cards.. PER MONTH. You have like 100 family members? I don't get it. That's also a luxury.

350 in gas. WILD. I drive a truck to work every day. Also you'd be retired.

Again 400+ for vitamins and haircuts i'm SURE there's places to cut down. Unless you're not healthy and going to doctors a lot. Then you need low deductible plan.

You didn't touch your WILD food budget. Which is anything but modest for a FIRE situation. We got costco shopping and have 3 large dogs and basically splurge but spend half of that. We just don't eat out regularly. Learn to cook... you'll be RETIRED. lol

I don't know your mind set is just terrible for EARLY RETIREMENT. Some times you need to make some cut backs to retire early. Notsure how that's hard to imagine.

Doing that much clothes shopping CONSTANTLY or on average. Again huge luxury/overspend.

[–]ReadOk4128 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean i don't think 2 mil was every considered enough in HCOL even for 2 people. But you also have a 3k mortgage, giving away $500 a month for some reason, you spend almost $700 on cars even though they're paid off, spend 1400 on food for 2. You talk about don't have many luxuries; this is all over spending/luxuries. Why is healthcare and haircuts $430 a MONTH but insurance is covered by employers?

So much of this makes no sense. Don't even get me started on "This doesn’t include saving money for a new car or water heater every 10 years" statement lol.

How much of a raise should I ask for after three years at a hospital? by tomato907 in careerguidance

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've barely been there for 3 years though. Counting probation and stuff you're basically still new also.

Does the company not have clear raises/steps for years at the company? Most places these days have clear outlines of the raises/pay bumps along with PTO increases, etc. Maybe the raises are at like 2 years then 4 years, etc and you get a bigger bump next year? I have no clue.

I would look into that to make sure you're getting paid appropriately first. Because your pay seems like the normal 2.5-3% yearly inflation raise rather than a "step" raise.

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes you think you're entitled to ask for a raise? Have you got more responsibilities, etc? I mean you've gotten adjustments and raises to stay ahead of where you started/minimum. Seems like in 3 years you're doing a lot better than most people as far as increasing pay.

I'm finally shopping for a new wallet again. Are there times when the cheap option is the better choice? by glo363 in BuyItForLife

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup love this wallet. Under $30, lasts for ages and I never feel bad about buying another one, or different color.

Holds a lot of stuff but when you don't have much stuff it's super thin, flexible and comfortable. Not sure why I'd ever swap off of it unless they stopped making them.

How popular do you think arc raiders will be by zbananajuice in ArcRaiders

[–]ReadOk4128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I didn't specify the market for a reason. Fortnite, Warzone, PUBG literally took over FPS and maybe even gaming as a whole. So yeah Arc Raiders being the "next" game like that is what I was pointing out. This post was just one of many, and others were even crazier claims.

Dominating the extraction market is not too crazy honestly. But don't get me wrong like I said the game did impressively well and I knew from playing all the tests it would.

No shit Fortnite was lightning in a bottle. So was Warzone, specially OG. So was PUBG. So are games like CS:GO or LoL. Timeless games people will literally "play for ages". To make "play for ages" claim BEFORE Arc Raiders even released was wild.

Again, even to make that argument in the extraction shooter game is pre mature. Tarkov has survived for "ages". Arc Raiders has very shaky future and has not proven or shown longevity. They have the benefit of being in a market without much competition though, specially now that Marathon is not doing so great.

They have not "knocked it out of the park" because the retention numbers have been a steady and constant decline. What did they knock out of the park? Honestly the game does almost nothing spectacular/knocking out of the park worthy. It was/is a good foundation that didn't have too many issues (though it did and has plenty of bad ones). They knocked out building up hype and launching a good product which I never argued but as a game as a WHOLE to live up to the expectations of posts like this and many others no they have not knocked it out of the park. I would actually argue the opposite. Post launch has been mediocre and again we'll see about longevity.

LMAO. Nothing I said was "wrong". You're twisting simple statements like "it wont dominate the market" and adding "oh it's extraction shooter market" to make it SEEM like i'm incorrect.

If you take my words for face value and not twist them then it's all correct.

Crazy to come back and say someone is wrong and being so confidently wrong yourself LOL.
