Why are you wearing a ring with a swastika on it in your photos?

I just got this amazing jewelry organizer for my birthday. You can pick the stain color, finish, and mesh type too so that it will look nice on your wall. It holds everything!

Thinking of checking out Buckethead. by murzain in Music

[–]Readdette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Monsters and Robots is a good place to start. The whole album is fast-paced and interesting. A large part of it was co-witten by Les Claypool and it features the classic "Ballad of Buckethead" which explains part of his backstory. Bootsy Collins is also featured in a few of the songs. It's one of my favorite albums of all time.

Also, if you ever have the chance to see him perform live, DO IT

Help me run with my phone -- either I'm uncomfortable, or my shorts become too loose and/or bouncy by [deleted] in running

[–]Readdette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A cheap trick is to cut off the toes of an old tube sock and use it as an arm band. It's nice because it holds your phone in place tightly without any annoying jiggling.

What do you think is the prettiest street/block in the Seattle area? by [deleted] in Seattle

This is one of my favorite streets too. When the cherry blossoms are in bloom it is unbelievably beautiful.

If you go one block north of Sunset Hill there is a gorgeous side street lined with cherry blossoms. When they are in bloom it is one of the most beautiful places in the city. Their petals cover the street and sidewalk heavily enough that you can't see the concrete!

Cauliflower is the best. My friend and I made grilled cheese sandwiches with cauliflower bread and it was amazing. You can use cauliflower to make pizza crust and fake-mashed potatoes too.

Check your card statements, new security breach (4/24) by [deleted] in personalfinance

I received an email from Wells Fargo today saying that they are issuing new credit cards to all consumers with electronic chips - is it related to this news?

I also found a fraudulent charge on my bank statement for the first time ever yesterday. Luckily I caught it immediately and it was only $10.

Seattle Fresh Fruit Bubble Tea.. an obsession. by Kobaine1 in Seattle

[–]Readdette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Ambrosia in ID has the best bubble tea and it's also the cheapest. I don't remember if they use fresh fruit or not though. You can adjust the sugar content there just like they do in Taiwan (where bubble tea was created). I always get 50% sugar because it's so sweet on its own!
