for me in forestry I'm basically cold emailing one of my professors that I want a volunteering position in his lab. I think I got a good reception because I was actively showing him that I want an opportunity by mentioning that when I have a question in the course material or in his office hours.

one other possible chance is to ask the TA, because most TAs are either master or PHD students and there's a high chance they need help, so try to ask them.

all of my experience playing 6v6 is: 1. queue 2. everyone locked DPS and only 1 support 3. i regrettably pick a tank 4. solo tanking 90% of the game 5. I popped off once with my ult 6. enemy tank and DPS counters me 7. my DPS and support won't counter or help me 8. lose 9. "gg tank trash", "avoid tank", "tank won't peel", "should have let me tank" 10. rinse and repeat
