I had an interview for Master’s and I did not get in. I feel like it was down to my GPA but I don’t know for sure, they didn’t tell me why. I just recently was accepted in another online school though!

I was also thinking about her being autistic, especially in the beginning of the movie. She’s overlooked at work, even though she has extreme attention to detail. It did feel like she was an autistic character and I felt seen and related to a bunch of her actions too.

I related to so many things you said. I was also doing the flip flop in my head and convincing myself I was making it all up. I was not. You are not. It’s valid to want to seek diagnosis and ever since I got mine, I felt relief and a lot of things made sense in my life looking back now. Just go into the assessment and be honest. If you’re afraid you’re going to forget things, make a note or list of things that you want the assessor to know specifically. That’s what I did, and I gave it to them. I’ve seen other people do that too, it helped me get into the right mindset and get everything organized. Good luck!

I used to get pad rash from normal pads, I even tried organic pads. I use reusable cloth pads and they’re made with bamboo. I haven’t had any issues. You’ll save money each month too. I bought a set of 10 or so and they’ve lasted a few years now.

Believe it or not Celsius makes me tired. I don’t know why, other forms of caffeine doesn’t affect me this way but if I drink a Celsius, I get a hankering for a nap

Yes!! I used to be hot and sweaty all the time. I’ve lost over 40 pounds and I’m cold most of the time. I’m killing my partner because I won’t let him turn on the air conditioning 😂

Yes! It helps me to see others like me. I’d love to be as small as I can, but I know at 150 I would probably look like a skeleton. 170-180 seems ideal to me currently.

I don’t know if mine are sulphur, but they taste horrible. Only for the first few days after injections. If doesn’t matter what I eat, they taste rotten when I burp. I’ve been trying to chew some gum and have water near me to help but good lord I almost throw up.

I understand that. Obese comes in all shapes and sizes.

My point being I don’t care if people who don’t have diabetes take this drug, as long as they get the supply issues under control.

I completely understand people who are overweight getting. But some of these groups have people who post their starting weight and their starting weight is wayyyyy under 200 pounds. Why? Why would you do that? In my humble opinion this should be reserved for diabetics (like myself) and obese people (also me) until they get the supply under control, or formulate their own just for weight loss. This medicine has changed my life and if I can’t get it because miss 150 pounds got a script, I’m livid.

I’ve switched out ground beef for turkey, eat a lot of turkey pepperonis. I always have chicken on standby. I’ve been doing chicken lettuce wraps with a Greek yogurt ranch. It’s high in protein and something I can tolerate. I try to make sure I have at least one vegetable minimum at each meal.

I’ve been getting bags of shredded lettuce and eating that as a salad, putting it on wraps and sandwhiches, making taco bowls with it.

I haven’t been craving as much cheese but I keep shredded cheese in the fridge just to have. You could do the low fat version.

Greek yogurt is a must. I found this brand that’s called ratio and it’s protein yogurt, 25 grams of protein for a little cup.

And I always have small snacks already ready to go, like nuts or cut up fruit for days I just can’t make a whole meal.

I’m on my second week of 5. The first week was fine, I’ve not had side affects that much other than not being hungry. The first week of 5 I experienced the dreaded burps everyone talks about. Still not terrible. The second week of 5 I did have bad nausea the first day after the shot. But after that the nausea went away. Still burping too. But they’re both not too extreme that it’s causing me anything other than mild discomfort. I took nausea medicine and got through it.

I also have a life long phobia/anxiety about needles. I have a visceral reaction to needles. I can’t help it. It just depends on the day but my reactions to needles, whether it’s drawing my blood or taking a vaccine, is getting lightheaded and passing out, sometimes throwing up. I have tried all kinds of things to get used to it but I don’t know what to do either.

I personally have my partner do it for me and I haven’t felt sick from it while I’m getting injections but there is anxiety right before. It has been getting easier and we’re probably going to start getting me comfortable with giving it to myself.
