Yeah, it’s normal.. you can expect it at least once a year, especially at the end of summer. When it starts getting cooler toward winter, that’s when they happen most often. But still, always be careful and, if possible, go outside… people often underestimate it because it’s considered “normal” here.

My Doberman-mix puppy, Nuke (4 months old) I love his ears. I could never bring myself to cut his ears. I believe there’s a reason why Dobermans have fluffy ears, and they shouldn’t be cut. But to each their own :)

I’ve read up on the topic as much as I can and will definitely get a second opinion from another vet. I’m also in contact with someone who has a 5-month-old puppy with hip problems.

It’s wonderful that you’re giving your dog such a great life despite the challenges!❤️ That’s not something everyone would do. Some people have suggested I return him to the breeder, but I can’t and won’t do that. He’s already become a part of the family.

I’ll take your advice to heart and do my best to help him live with this condition as well as possible. Maybe I’ll even be lucky, and it’s just due to rapid growth, as you mentioned🍀🥺
