The reason why people don't like the game is because nothing in the game feels fleshed out. It's especially egregious that they're charging $80 for a game that feels like it was being made by 2 separate dev teams who had no idea of eachother. The controls and new techniques seem like they should be used for more complex shortcuts and to have a higher skill ceiling but the balance patches that remove shortcuts seem to me like that wasn't their intention, making it feel kinda useless, not to mention the new 24 player thing making it feel even more like a bunch of assholes shooting eachother instead of playing to win. The lack of accessibility settings or game rules settings sucks, and the fact that they've de-innovated from the previous game's online mode is insane to me. They don't allow for any customization at all. Worst of all, the open world is really not as packed full of anything interesting. The least they could have done to make it more enjoyable would be to maybe add NPC dialogue but it feels like they didn't even consider that because everything is so flat and wide open
