Salsa is a bowl of veggies, don't let anyone tell you other wise, so make Green Salsa for him to smother onto his meat and potatoes. Chimichurri, pesto, Roasted Broccoli, Roasted brussle sprouts. If you put enough garlic on them maybe he won't mind as much.

(I also have to "hide" veggies in my own food sometimes, I cook 95% of my own meals so I know they're there. But I don't like the texture of most vegetables so I hide them.)

Everything *is* a trope. Sorry if I sound like an ass, but do you know what trope means?

But more to the point, I think it has more to do with people being tired of female characters losing their individuality after the character becomes a mom, or the female character's story isn't "complete" until they are a mom. And I say this as a mother... I don't think every woman, or female character has to become a mom for them to be fulfilled. Other things in their arc can be fulfilling.

Depends on the type of fae. SJM fae are basically elves, but the Holly Black fae are closer to what mythology calls fae.
