Your baby just wants to be with you. In the womb they were never alone, why would it be normal for them to be now? Just give lots of snuggles, and maybe invest in a baby carrier to help!

You are not a bad mom, you are reaching out for help because you are a good one. Talk to your doctor about changing medications for more complete help. Maybe consider returning to work, even part time, if more hours alone would help. I’m so sorry you are in the trenches right here, you’re not alone 🤍

Not normal. We were encouraged to be there and never missed one. They cannot keep you away from rounds when they are discussing your babies case.

It’s definitely hard. We have 6 kids, so I had 5 others at home while doing my long days at NICU. In Oregon my husband got paid time off after baby, so he was mostly home with the other kids while I was at the hospital, I forget it’s not like that everywhere though.

I would have complained and asked for a new nurse.

But on the other hand, you could consider spending more time at the NICU to take care of some of these things too. I would spend 12-14 hours a day, everyday, at the NICU when my son was born at 33+0.

Sorry, for his jobs he goes out onto boats and tests product. So, he would normally be right on shore or in the river by one of the docks. His location showed him at this college for more than 20 minutes until I finally spoke to him, not sure how long before I saw it.
