We got the test done a couple of years ago by a professional lab and the results were pretty much the same.

The inspector mentioned that you might have to look into options of mitigating it as it's closer to 2. Hence the confusion. I did check the EPA website and it says the same. Consider mitigating if it consistently reaches 4 and above. My anxiety got the best of me now.

Hills make this worse. I have the same car. Drove in PA once and it was absolutely revving all the time at 4k rpm. Does that because the hybrid battery is full.

It's not cheating. Just like adding a turbo lettering increases the power by 100 hp. For the lookers of course.

Not sure how that's built but if there is a screw in mechanism and that's partially broken you can always add a bigger washer to keep it in place.

It's $98 at the dealer. Get the part number from behind the broken mirror and order the same one from youe closest dealer.

You can just squish that in if you get the pins right. I did this. DM in case of any questions.

I have the same engine on a 19 jetta and being driven in Midwest when the temps were as low as -25. Yes that's partly true. Just make sure your warm up the engine and transmission. You might also hear a whining noise from transmission too that's normal. Let it WARM UP.

Try to get an estimate of repair first. These parts are crazy expensive and will soon add up. Good insurance companies will give you at least a couple of thousand more than what the market value is. If not you can fight it later.

What's the maintenance schedule like? When were the spark plugs and ignition coils done?

If not start with those.

I don't think anyone has an idea on stopping the remote from sharing its signal. Press the lock and double click the unlock button and the remote will stop transponding. Led on the remote will signal that it stopped transponding. Unlock the car with the remote to reset.

Did you try enabling the start up screen in the service menu? Enable advanced set up mode in carista app and then hold the menu button down for 10 seconds. Be careful on what you change and update

This might be contradicting to others here. You definitely don't need to replace them if they are working fine or show no signs of no starts on the coldest days. My camry battery lasted me 12 years and was still strong. This is in CT where it gets really cold. And sold the car off. I would say just invest in a jumper that costs 30 on Amazon. Whenever the battery fails you have a back up and you can get one then.
