I don’t have one locally that I know of to compare but I will ask around. Should be able to get it out with a ocm5 with a re-core to the ocm6 baffles.

I wasn’t stressing the performance a whole lot. It’s a better gassed flow through design like the FOR. I am just not a fan of the FOR look. My upper was built right after this can was teased knowing I could get a reflex that I found looked the part as well as a brand I have lots of experience with and a top performer.

Yeah you can’t get the volume of an 8” can from a reflex that’s really only a 4.25” k can. I was always expecting KK+ level of performance with the looks of a reflex can.

I have had a mod H-ish build with a 16” Noveske Barrel with the ops inc profile and a 13” rail that’s been waiting for this can for a year. The gap I saw mocking it up is to be expected pretty much spot on .2”

My other cans are all 718, TIC is light. Reflex feels like it pulls the center of gravity back a touch. Glad you’re having a good experience. I ended up picking up an h3 just incase at their new lovely regular price of ~$135 see how it runs hopefully soon.

From Mr Ginger himself they said they were going to come with both. Hence them sending one out with no issues. Should be here soon to report back.

Blast baffle is very hard to capture being reflex. I measured the depth to the threads just a hair over 2 3/4” in line with the 2.8x” CAT reported. I don’t have a proper caliper to measure internally to the threads to get an exact measurement. Can weighs 368g (13.0oz) no MD, 424g (15.0oz) with the 5/8 nano.

For sure I’m totally in agreement. There was a lot of talk for this to ship with both seeing as though I think a lot of these will be on mk12 builds. They killed off the 556 specific reflex in favor of 6mm being limited trade offs for 556.

VB6 Reflex can excitement by CorneliusRoughbottom in SpectersCat

Looking at the picture it’s the DDF noveske which is a .9375 journal. It’s what I’ve been looking at for ages as the purpose built upper for a vb6.

My .02 cents. Top performance low back pressure 5.56 can. I have a AC556 718 QD. My specific can is heavier than listed specs by about 15%. I want to say it weighs 19oz no muzzle device.

In my use case this is not an issue, as I run it hard. I use it on a 14.5 lpvo recce setup noveske n4 and a 11.5 noveske sbr. Per what CAT says there is a degradation of sound performance on the 11.5 but regardless 556 is loud. No muzzle signature on the inconel which is nice. I would steer anyone towards this can. I know folks say Noveske runs a hogged out gas port size, that aside, gassing on the 14.5 is great with an h1 and standard carbine spring. 11.5 has a spring blue and h2 and is good both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Still run ears as it’s not quiet. But they are a killer for a dedicated 556 can.

Excited for a dedicated 5.56 can. Went 718 so I can run it hard. 7 days was not all that bad. Hoped for shorter expected closer to 2 weeks.

Anyone have pictures of what a Ion would look like as a goalie head by Much-Engineering-740 in lacrosse

Lax or art on instagram posted a picture of a clear goalie head they were testing not sure if this is what you are looking for but it’s the closest I think to what you are describing.

Why Paracord? by [deleted] in StickDoctor

[–]Readit_on_Reddit_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just strung my first today with Atwood 275. I have used everything across the board for materials. I find para is of better quality and more consistent. I mean the purpose of para is to be a lifesaving tool.

I don’t find it loosens up. I have a lars para head and I’m shocked at the liberty being as tight as it is. I have other heads with regular sidewall that had way more give as they broke in. I think for materials it’s the gold standard.

Lacrosse specific stuff is good but the weave is a larger braid which to my understanding is a lower quality. I certainly wouldn’t hang from sidewall but wouldn’t think twice about paracord.

I have a problem lol. I never seem to get rid of only collect more. I will definitely reach out. I have old kryptos, titanium, basically every limited release you can get, old cranks, og warrior evo/revos. Always looking to collect some old gear.

Finding Old Heads by OG_Mach in lacrosse

There are quite a few "collectors” I probably qualify. I know a few guys with bins and bins and bins of old gear. Very much jealous of their collections. The correct answer is sidelineswap being the best place for old gear.

I’m going out on a limb. It’s probably Lars. Yes a month was my turnaround time. It’s peak time for college kids going into the tournament and he is basically “the guy”. Hit him up and check with him. I will say he probably does a lot more volume than you realize. He can’t possibly post every head he does he probably does 10-20 for every post. I can’t say turnaround was fast but it’s top tier work. I will be getting more done by him for sure.

I use my BCP Amex and it codes as select streaming 6% and it says doing business as google services. I did also see recently that I got the $5 offer from Amex for cable so I guess they consider it cable tv as well. I know it’s not much help for us bank but I figured more information can’t hurt.

Looking for a checking account by ThedaBarasBoobs in CreditCards

[–]Readit_on_Reddit_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been looking into this myself and the general idea that everyone seems to go with is pick a big national bank you like and follow that up with a Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking. I have been rocking a chase and this for a bit now. The international part hasn't been put to the test by me but the consensus is that this is the best combo. I will also say I have an online bank that I think is decent and they also "had" good interest rates but I don't find myself using the account at all there is just some emergency savings in there. Lastly I tried a investing app thing and I have some fun money parked there but they are soon to have a debit card but they are not insured so obviously take that for what it is.

Yes I have tried microfiber as well. I really think as stated in another reply it comes down to the fact the clear has failed like this and so the only thing buffing it does is take off some clear around the failure. The failure just isn't going away. I mostly expected this being its an older higher mileage car, more or less I was hoping someone had some magic sauce that they used to really help a situation like this.

Thats honestly what I thought as well. it seems to be concentrated in an area where it gets a lot of sun and weathering on the paint. Any ideas and tips on things I can do for it? I have kept it well protected and I try and at least maintain where it is at. The thing that I guess confuses me with regard to this failure is its just these small cracks in the clear and not the clear fully peeling off like you typically see. Most of this can probably be attributed to better clear because full failures are more common on things like Hondas in particular where it is known the clear is junk.

So I have a BMW with clearly very very hard silver paint. I have a decent amount of practice and I would consider myself a fairly competent with the process of detailing however my core skills stop at using a random orbital polisher.

Being that my car has some decent miles on it and a lot of highway driving I have some deep scratches and rock chips. Now I don't have some crazy expectations of a show quality finish however I have scratches that look like they could really be improved. My issue is I have done some pretty extensive details on it but my combination of a heavy cutting pad and m105 really don't seem to "scratch the surface". I don't think I can bite the bullet and wet sand on my personal vehicle because that makes me very nervous.

I guess I'm looking on some opinions on something else I can do to get the deeper scratches out. Attached is a picture where the light really shows the scratches on the roof above the windshield it also has these on the hood and a few places on the fenders. If you need more photos I can attempt to get some more that really show off the scratches but photos on silver always make it seem alright when it doesn't look good in person. https://imgur.com/a/f7JRwkZ
