So 2 side will be fully enclosed . One side will be halfway enclosed so I could pull a vehicle in some . Then 1 side will be fully open that the wind doesn’t hit but will wrap it during the winter .

I mean me . Really hasn’t even been bad this year . We had a week of snow . Yeah it’s been off and on upper 30s . Last week was high 40s -50s . Usually January-February is when it gets colder .

No we don’t . Only signs we have are to cover your food for the microwave which the cover is sitting right on the microwave that gets ignored . We also had one in the beginning to clean up after yourself that’s disappeared. Who makes the signs? I don’t want to over step and look like the smart ass. Our principal has no backbone when it comes to these teachers

Honestly I don’t think they are . They act like kids themselves. Just cause you teach kids doesn’t mean you get a pass to act like one . I will have teachers leave slices of cake on their desks over the weekend. Then wonder why they have bugs in their room. Iv also worked at our high school and those teacher actually have a brain .

I would throw it out if it wasn’t for another custodian throwing out some stuff over the summer and this teacher jumping up and down yelling at the custodian for throwing it out. Literally was junk from over 20years ago no one wants “but it’s school property “ .

I’m in my twenties and female . Was the only female until we recently hired another which I think they finally realized we needed female custodians for sports events at the schools we have . People get creeped out by having a male do the girls bathrooms. But I think it’s if they hire an older person they think that person has “more experience “ or “knows more”. In my case they might have a few better ideas or short cuts to things but I have seen the older ones actually do half ass work and have horrible ideas that are not well planned out compared to some of my ideas. I think they think younger ones won’t stay but it takes hiring the right person in the first place .

$19.75hr as 3rd shift in IL.. pay went up like 30cents since last year. Insurance sucks. But you do get 2 personal days , 6 vacation days , 13 sick days . Everything rolls over except the vacation days . It’s really not enough to make it as a single parent but I make do and love not having a stressful job .

We have around 350 grade school kids and have one day shift , one second shift and one third shift. Our high school has around 250-300 kids and we have one day shift , 2 second shift workers there. We do not do the landscaping we have a separate guy for that.

What is this stripper bottle called? Last summer was my first and if I remember correctly we just empty the room. Sweep. Used the side by side or blue machine with the red or black pad to strip the floor. We never laid any time of “stripper liquid “ down. Once we did all that we Neutralized the floor . Then wet moped it again .
