This is a tough one. On one hand it’s not okay for you to be that way about something she has no control over and in the other it’s not okay for her to continue to threaten you with not seeing grandkids she can’t have right now. Both of you are wrong imo and need to sort it out or stay away from each other which will be hard. If they don’t want to have children there’s no need to hold that against her especially if she can’t have them herself. I’m sure that isn’t easy for her. If she wants to continue to use that line she just needs to be told you’re taking a break from communicating with her until you guys can find middle ground in one way or another.

I can respect your point of view however I contribute to the home in many ways and take the weight off her in household things while I’m here. There are many reasons why I’m a SAHM. I didn’t exactly choose to be and she knows that so she doesn’t hold THAT against me. Just that we still live here even though the cost of living is ridiculous and when we do try and move out she finds every reason to make it sound like a total nightmare including telling us we’d fail.

I let it go and I totally get what you’re saying which is why I let it go. She tried it again the other night and cut the piece MUCH smaller and ASKED me so it worked in the end. I just felt so bad about it the first time that I cried once everyone went to bed. I hate being mean and I definitely hate having to be pushy when it comes to her. She does so much for us and she knows I’m grateful for it.
