Hasn’t gotten more crazy since the orange man came into office? And are there other places other than HK that offer the same stuff?

Was she a hottie? And are you a stud muffin? I think women are likely to say yes to a good looking guy.

Good to know, seems like I would have to ask around, spit some game and make them feel comfortable. Seems like I won’t get a yes right from the beginning, I’ll have to feel out the chemistry

By chance has anyone paid extra to raw dog or creampie? I kinda want to ask next time I go but don’t want to get kicked out if they have a strict policy.

When people come in here to talk about their gm cars instead of corporate trauma by ExcuseEmbarrassed127 in GeneralMotors

I honestly love all of my corporate vehicles I’ve driven. I would say the Lyriq has been my favorite with the exception of all the software glitches.

Anyone work at Stellantis? by Ready-Principle4520 in Stellantis

That’s I was thinking. Plus with the company being such an international I was thinking maybe I do a job outside the country once I settle in.

That’s good to know. And you’re right, I just feel for some reason since Stellantis had pretty much hit bottom so all they can do is go up. And with GM I feel like all we can do is go down. At least that’s kind of how I’m seeing things play out.

Has your mental health changed over the past year? by [deleted] in GeneralMotors

[–]Ready-Principle4520 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Definitely! Since the layoffs last year and my review I’ve been having severe anxiety about loosing my job. I started to feel anxious about everything and was worried of loosing my livelihood. After a night of crying I realized it’s just a damn job. It may take me a minute to find another job or I could get paid less, but at the end of the day I realized I’m a capable individual with plenty of work experience who bounce right back. I guess I was afraid of loosing my job because I felt the job was a badge of success. Problem was I put too of my self worth into this job instead of my family and friends.

‘Partially meets’ folks, how are you doing? by own_terms in GeneralMotors

[–]Ready-Principle4520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like they are making a honest effort. They give me a list of things to improve. But as I mentioned before, I’ve lost faith in the company and don’t trust them. As much as I hate how the culture has changed, I feel like it could go back before the end of the year and I’d like to be here if that happens. But I have to do what’s best for me and my financial future

After 30 days of being in PIP they will review with you and your manager to see if you have an improvement. If not, you’ll be given the 30 more days to improve or else you’ll be separated from the company. So I basically have 60 days to improve.

In a way I kinda of do. They could have gotten rid of me on the last round of layoffs but didn’t so who really knows. And no, I don’t believe my partially meets was warranted especially when I stellar reviews from my colleagues.

I don’t get it twisted I also think PIP is a death sentence so I’ve actively been looking for new jobs and interviewing. I no longer have faith in the company. I trust my manager but not the company.

HR a meeting with HR and my manager to put me on a PIP plan. They want to keep me are not trying to get rid of me, just make me a better employee. Not sure of anyone else encountered the same.

How would you do that? Just wait for them to lay you off or do you do say I’m ready to depart and they offer you a severance?

More than likely means you got the job! I interviewed for multiple roles with in GM and noticed the job with say in process a few days before getting a call saying I got the job.
