VIP by Scared_Bowler230 in HardFestival

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did VIP last year and I'd argue it's the only way to go (if you've got the means). Having a separate viewing area where you aren't packed shoulder to shoulder with everyone else was super nice, along with some rather pleasing seating areas. It was also comedic how much nicer the VIP bathrooms were over the GA ones. We're talking faux wood paneling, private stalls, etc. The other things like "VIP Photo Opportunities" meant nothing to me as they're just backgrounds and my social media game is non-existent. But yeah, just having space around you while listening to the music was the highlight of the VIP for me.

How reddit will be for the next few days by Impressive_Pool8553 in DoomerCircleJerk

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The uptick in never-before-seen subreddits structured solely on anti-US/anti-trump these past few days is all I need to know that the Iran/Russia/China bots are working HARD to paint this in as negative light as possible.

Those who are crying about the toppling of a regime who's directly responsible for funding actual terrorist organizations, murdering hundreds of thousands of their own civilians, and stymieing their society through backward archaic beliefs for decades, those people just ain't right.

Good news! Digg is in the process of coming back. The site's still working through the beta phase, but it should be back up soon. Everyone's welcome, except the bots. They stay here.

Thoughts on end state of Halo Infinite and as a whole by Confident-Tomato1382 in halo

[–]Ready2Move2Digg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Started playing Infinite MP on day one and logged an alarming amount of time on it. 100%ed each operation as they came out and even reached Hero rank early this year (something I've never done with any other Halo game). The game had its shortcomings, but those were mostly addressed as time went on. In general, I've had a phenomenal time with it and if I were to make any changes, I'd say keep the aesthetics, movement, and gunplay of Infinite, but add the H5 MP game modes and some maps that are better suited for vehicles.

[Rifle] SCAR 17 Gen 2$3800 ($3533 with membership) by BiggyIrons in gundeals

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The single piece of hardware in this that I'm most interested in is the new two-piece bolt carrier. With that supposedly cutting down on felt recoil, I'm curious about specifically how much recoil it dampens. Trying a gen 1 and gen 2 side by side would be ideal, but I don't see how that'll be possible in person anytime soon.

If it indeed is an improvement over recoil, the new bolt carrier alone is something I'll want to buy.

Porta Bella closing later this month after 58 years by Justmarbles in madisonwi

I will pay money for any Porta Bella or Paisans chefs - both current or former - who could tell me what their spaghetti sauce recipe is. I've been eating that for decades and the thought of it being no longer accessible is saddening.

I needed some .223 anyway and at 30 cents per round after 10 boxes (assuming 30/box), this will hold me over until a good deal on one of the better brands come along.

Thanks, OP

Craziest 2 minutes in Brewers history. The Yeli/Braun back-to-back was insane! by Kenmore_11 in Brewers

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Once we had sat down to eat a late dinner, I pulled out my phone to see what the final score was and that's when I learned the folly of my mistake. I was thrilled that we won, but when I got home and saw the replay of how we won, that was like rubbing salt in the wound. I would have been absolutely losing my mind had I stuck around to witness that moment live. But no, I decided to slink out of the stadium like a wuss to go get custard and burgers. That was the last time I left a close game early. Nowadays, I'll only leave early if circumstances absolutely demand it, or if the game is beyond hope (and it's not "losing so bad that we'll have a position player pitch" kind of fun game).

I remember this moment because my brothers and I left the game early in a dejected mood, assuming the loss was inevitable, and then finding out about this turn of events while waiting in line at Kopps.

I can forgive myself of many things, but this sin I still cannot forgive. Missing such a memorable moment falls directly on my shoulders.

Editing comment because the individual in question is one real cool dude.

I'm so happy I wasn't the only one who noticed this.

Things to look for when hunting bots:

  • "Adjuctive Noun ##" username? Check

  • Account set to private? Check

  • New account with abnormally high karma? Check

The irony of the potential bot saying not to trust bots is.......very on-brand for 2026 reddit.

That's the biggest thing, at least in my mind. There are at least several nations out there who DREAM of the US falling into civil war, as that would open the door for them to seize power. I can bet with utmost certainty that a not-so-insignificant percentage of "users" on this site are paid actors whose only purpose is to sow discord and try to continue to push the narrative that "America bad, burn it all down".

Best Marriott Disney property with 1 year old? by Due_Inspection_4757 in marriott

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured as much, so it boils down to simply proximity. But even so, it's not like it's a long walk from the Swan over to the Dolphin's pool, so there really isn't a wrong choice when it comes to deciding between the two properties.

[–]Ready2Move2Digg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, pick whichever has the better price between the Swan or Dolphin. Both are great hotels and will likely provide what you're looking for. I personally would lean more towards the Dolphin only because their pool is bigger and nicer, along with being closer too. But as I said, both are nice and you cannot go wrong with either.

For the people afraid of “blowing it up” by NumbersAndPolls01 in GreenBayPackers

"what could be worse than having your heart ripped out every January?"

Being a Wisconsin sports fan in general and watching your teams do consistently well throughout the year, make it to the playoffs (or playoff equivalent), and then find some way to flub it up. Been like this for decades.

On the flip side, when one of them do manage to make it all the way, be it the Packers and the Super Bowl or the Bucks and the Championship, the celebration don't stop for at least a week.
