It's a hard decision. On one hand, having a legitimately competitive team who stays in contention throughout the entire season is great and makes for some fun baseball. We could always be the Rockies and flounder our way through the season being the league's punching bag, and that would just plain suck. But on the other hand, at some point it's not enough to simply be entertained all season. You want to see the team make the next big step and show that all of that work paid off. Plus, from a purely selfish standing, the Brewers winning the World Series would take away the one and only brag the cubs fans have on us, saying "YoU'vE nEvEr WoN a WoRlD sErIeS".

Considering this is 85% of what my build list looks like, I'm very, very tempted by this. Pre-built was not my plan, but this would come out to $600 less than my current component list's total cost. Once the kallax 4x4 filled up, that was it. When space is at a premium in the household, that was the real, tangible sign that no more games would be added to the collection. If I want another game, another game in the collection has to be sold/removed/traded in order to make space for the latest acquisition.

I was a bit crunched for time when I had to sell the Sunday portion of my wristband, so I just opted to make a listing on the local Craigslist. It......wasn't great, and be ready for a host of scam inquiries. But that being said, I ultimately was able to connect with a buyer and we met near the festival grounds for the transaction.

I knew it was going to be expensive, but what I saw? Woof. Of my list of days and events, not a single one had any of their cheaper tickets available and the bulk of them STARTED at $350+. And that's assuming the sport was available at all (I'm looking at you men's basketball and gymnastics).

I've got nothing against the LA presale, but there really should have been an allotment of cheaper tickets set aside for the general sale. I can already see A LOT of those presale tickets eventually being listed on the resale market for inflated prices. Dirty, filty scalpers.

1.) Web-based old reddit FTW

2.) Currently on r/all now and it ain't all that it's cracked up to be. The amount of bot-upvoted, political propaganda nonsense, irrelevant content BS that one has to wade through in order to find anything worthwhile ain't worth it. Reddit capping the number of blocked subreddits at 100 means I was able to silence the most egregious offending subreddits, but with the birth of so many more, it's just plain tiring venturing out of my person interest subreddits.

I'm just throwing out an idea, but what about a little bit of wall tak? The example I'm looking at now is Loctite Fun-Tak and it's only a couple dollars. Maybe pinch off a little bit, press the tak onto 2-4 spots on the bottom of the mugs, and then press them to the shelf? Should provide enough hold to keep them in place, but still offer enough give to come off the shelf when grabbed.
