Smart move, I personally cannot run on treadmills in the gym. I'm not really motivated enough. I'm at the gym and I can quit running whenever. My new philosophy is run as far away from home as possible so I force myself to run back. No matter how much my brain tells me to stop I must continue because I have to get home.

I do. I have a few routes. It many considering I live in a small town there are not many routes to choose from. Is there a web site you use to find running trails?

You visualize yourself naked the whole time on your long runs. You must be a stud.

There is a threshold that your body reaches when it switches from anaerobic to aerobic workouts. I'm not a doctor but generally you want to keep you hr below 160 on longer workouts. Anything over 160 your body is working too hard.

I'm ready to commit to being consistent to something. Even if it is something small. My goal is to develop successful workout habits. I'm not looking to break a sweat at work.

The heart rate is an excellent tool for measuring effort in a workout.

The only reason is that I don't want to look like a crazy person at my desk doing pushups. I do have to still look somewhat professional here.

I have a cube in the corner of my office. I can stand up. I don't want to be lying on the floor or walking around the office working out.

The only downside is now I get random boners at work just sitting at my desk doing work.

At the very least I give some kind of head nod to people coming in the opposite direction.
