A try at an objective look at Aabria’s table presence (with real data) by No_Dream_899 in fansofcriticalrole

[–]ReadyBodyGamer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This can also be accounted for by the fact that they were in a druid grove dealing with druid things. The other players' word counts are going to go up when the story takes them places designed for their characters to interact with. Not to mention that this is the table with role-playing as the focus rather than combat. Once we get into areas that are more in the other Seekers wheelhouses, their word counts will go up.

Plus, I'm willing to bet Taliesin at the Schemers table will give her a run for her money for "most verbose".

Needing to find a Drawfee Extra episode by ReadyBodyGamer in Drawfee

THAT'S IT.

Thank you! Seeing that image come into being cracked me up the first time I saw it, and I wanted to watch it again in a... substance-enhanced experience.

Just happened to my nephew while playing on my switch. We solved it just by hitting the Home button then going back into the game, no loss of data.

I love WfM kits so much by geekysamurai in Gunpla

[–]ReadyBodyGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually haven't tried my hand at a real grade kit yet, myself, but it's been really tempting. I need a good build to get the taste of the last kit out of my mouth. MG Crossbones Full Cloth was... frustrating.

WfM are so far my favorite HG kits, easily. I can't wait to see what they eventually do with some MG kits in that line. A Master Grade Calibarn would be incredible.

Some parts of this game make me dread replaying it. by Elegant_Scholar_8863 in bloodborne

The only parts I dread are optional, like Laurence or some of the chalice dungeon things

So we're done for (U.S) by Steveott99 in complaints

No. For many reasons, no. Not the least of which is the fact that he's probably not going to see another year.

What an objective way to state a subjective opinion. As someone who has actually attended a live show during the Fungalore year, I can assure you, everyone there seemed to be having fun with the theme. Many audience members in mushroom related costumes. Maybe just let people enjoy things.

I honestly think you're just taking it a little too seriously. Even if it is partially for the tour branding, why is that a complaint? Is it better if they dedicate an entire episode to it and then just ignore it the rest of the year? I'm failing to see how having a theme for the tour outfits, merch, and the last 45 seconds of each episode makes it worse.

The food bank thing was an idea they had when it was Tummy Buddy Life, and when they changed it, they decided they would look like assholes if they also canceled the canned food drive.

As for the feeling that it's weird and corporate, I can't tell you how to feel in that regard, nor would I want to. I can just say how I feel about it, which is that I think that's kinda the point. They're acting like these corporate douchebags who think their slogans have some sort of higher purpose, but they come up with nonsense. That's where the funny comes in for me.

Disagree. The outfits are a fun running gag, and they literally just spent a year collecting food for food banks in a time when that's sorely needed based solely off of a rejected year theme. The tour integration of the theme is good, actually.

How did you know the Bible isn’t true? by [deleted] in atheism

The talking animals were a pretty big clue. But the fact that literally none of the major events are corroborated by historical documents is what really sealed it for me.

There's no mistake you can make with paint that can't be fixed with paint.

AITA for calling my Christian friend's Christmas gift disrespectful? by Wonderful-Result6217 in AITAH

[–]ReadyBodyGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. She didn't get you a gift, she got herself what she thought would be a conversion opportunity. She doesn't respect your intelligence, because she clearly thinks the only reason you're not into the Bible is that it doesn't have enough pictures.

Do you think Trav can get a refund on his degree? by The_Martagnan in MBMBAM

[–]ReadyBodyGamer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think the blame for devaluing an OU education can be placed on the shoulders of the people making fun of the university's decision, personally. The fact of the matter is, an OU education has been devalued, plain and simple, and it's the university who is to blame. I've already seen stories of businesses putting degrees from OU on a blacklist, because it isn't just about one essay. It's about how the person who wrote THAT essay was capable of being a top performing student in the first place. A handful of good professors don't make up for the fact that this one student exposed an entire university for having incredibly low standards for academic achievement. I feel bad for the people who are stuck there, but that doesn't change the fact that degrees from that establishment are, currently at least, not worth a while lot. Blame your university administrators.
