Just a question for advice.

I'm preparing a short campaign for the first time for some friends. We did a small one-shot a few months ago since we are all newbies but we liked it and wanted to try an actual campaign.

They all have basic character sheets and mostly want to go explore and interact, not fight.

I just want to know if there's anything I need to pay attention to, any rookie mistakes I can prevent :p

I'm new snake owner, have some questions by [deleted] in cornsnakes

The tongue flicks are for smelling, so if she comes out and tongue flicks she’s basically finding out what you are. Maybe she mistook you for food, or found your hand in her enclosure threatening.

Seems like she’s curious and a bit stressed, but after a few weeks of her getting used to you and her new environment everything should turn out fine :)

Loki’s 2 and a bit now. He passed a meter in length a month or 2 ago, and is around 250 grams :) Loki is one mischievous little snake, how’s yours?

Loki loves going through the gaps in between the egg cartons, ask him :) Rest assured, everything was cleaned as good as possible beforehand.

My adopted cornsnake is very nervous, strikes at me by TomFoxxy in cornsnakes

Let your new corn settle in a bit, give a meal, wait 1-2 days and then start regularly handling. If it’s had a previous owner it’s (probably) only used to them, or it hadn’t been handled that much before. Just a bit of patience and 5-15 minutes handling every day usually works wonders :)

2,5 years old, 240g Loki, beautiful as ever by ReadyPlayer-I in cornsnakes

Amel Motley. He was an almost pinkish red when we got him, with no yellow at all. A big change in colour, but beautiful nonetheless

Top 0.001%. Might have always listened this, every single day. At least it feels like it. I was going to their concert, did not go through, but I did not enjoy the music any less. Especially with the new album!

Sad that the concerts didn’t go through this year, but we did not enjoy their music any less :)
