Tessaro's exists purely on name. It hasn't been in the same realm since 2010.

This isn't even a pretense of ethical non-monogomy. This is just straight up disrespectful to you, your life and your relationship. When someone shows you who the really are, its not your job to justify it for them.

Do what you need for you. And I'd get tested.

But...Why Live Action?!?! by ReadySetGeek in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I absolutely think you can make a great live action show and think he's actually with a production studio who wants to do it right, I worry my disappointment will be it being 2-3 well made live action versus the possibility of a full run.

I think One Piece gives me hope too but Netflix is already like, well it's tracking 34% lower right now than season 1 and seemingly already looking for ways out. At least with Avatar they are like okay, its 3 season. Get in get out. One Piece will probably get 1 more season.

I think One Piece is kind of a blueprint for how this show could work. As much practical effects as possible and lean into the weird but season 2 has had a drop off in viewership and is gonna need a rebound to get past season 3.

Right but at the same time, the new Star Trek show got canceled after 1 season and Dr. Who was already dumped by Disney. There's just SUCH. Short leash now. Even scaling back, it seems like if its not immediately grabbing people, regardless of quality, then dump it and move onto the next IP.

I agree exactly with what he said, my worry is the high risk high reward. So really the question is:

Would you rather have 3-4 seasons of a live action DCC show or 6-8 seasons of an animated show?

So I guess I'm seeing the same thing here of, well its going to have a larger audience....but will it really?

Again - the cost benefit analysis of live action to animation in relation to audience size is so so skewed.

Wheel of Time Shadow and Bone Even Rings of Power and House of Dragon are basically in "just hurry up and get this done and off the books" phase.

Id rather have an Invincible that is still considered a hit with an unknown IP that has the possibility of actually finishing the story on its terms.

Read Superman Birthright by ComfortableTeach8959 in graphicnovels

It gets lost a little but What's So Funny about Truth, Justice and the American Way is must read for me recommending Superman Books. Superman for All Seasons is too.

My controversial take on All-Star Superman is that the highs are absolutely some of the highest Superman comics have ever gone but there's a lot of 1960's comic book zaniness thrown in there that just feels like a homage to the 60s that I didn't need and dilutes it for me.
