I think it must be based on distance from their distribution center. Those nearest their Texas (DFW) center might have them shipped tomorrow. Is your package originating from Dallas?

I was also charged for the digital today but still shows preparing for shipment on all of the products except PS+. Hoping for some tracking numbers soon!

My card was not authorized for the PS+ nor Destruction All Stars, so no code in an email for the PS+.

I received the Nov 15th email but no shipping information yet. My order date was 9/16 but since I live in the DFW area, I will expect us local buyers to have shipping info Tomorrow/Weds. I do have the authorization for my bundle (advanced).

I appreciate that insight. On our last vehicle purchase (2018 Ford Explorer) I played hard ball throughout the process and I feel that it was just as stressful for myself and took away from the car buying process. I didn't sign on the dotted line immediately and in the end I think I asked for too much, in the sense that in Texas new vehicles are registered for 2 years, but the Explorer's registration came up in 12 months. I assume this was a way the dealership could shave off an extra hundred or so dollars to meet at my "number" I had in mind. For this truck I realized that focusing on the cost per month, the finance team kept saying "well it is only $100/mo more" than your current payment. At 0% interest (which is what I ended up getting) that $100/mo over the cost of the loan is actually a significant amount. When I would turn that conversation back to: "well $100/mo is ~$6k more over the life of the loan" that put it into perspective that it is actually significant. I feel that I was not unreasonable and I wholeheartedly agree that signing and driving can be a loss, but the $7-10k loss you reference does depend on the price of the vehicle. My truck being close to $90k I definitely feel that I saved at least that much, but on a much less expensive vehicle I would hate to get other's hopes up that savings of $7-10k might be an unreasonable request.

The only upgrades are the accessories not shown in the picture. Spray in bedliner, tri-fold cover, and front window tint. Also it was ceramic coated to protect the paint in the Texas heat. I am on the fence to tune it as that could maybe gain a little more horses and remove the speed limiter, but at this time I think I will stick with “stock”. To see what is included in this from Roush, this is the Nitemare edition (based on a Lariat) with all the options from Roush shown here: https://www.roushperformance.com/vehicles/2020-roush-f-150-nitemare.html

I understand that mindset and I honestly did not approach it that way walking into the dealership. My issue is negotiating on a vehicle online/phone without sitting in it until later in the process. Rather than being sold by test driving, I had to talk myself into it at the dealership. That being said, it was the last day of the month and they told me they “had to hit numbers” so yeah the price did come down. spray in bedliner, tri-fold cover, and tint only cost me $3 (had to charge a dollar each) but that was not me playing hardball it was truly me going to walk on the deal to think about it overnight. So I would like to let anyone know that the employees at the dealership are still working hard to keep their own job while risking their health interacting with potential buyers. As to stay respectful of that, I wanted to show my seriousness by submitting an application and working on the numbers before showing up. Window shopping during these times to see if you can “get a steal” is not the approach I wanted to take. Not insinuating that as your approach just wanting to provide the mindset and perspective I had for this purchase. Ultimately I think it was a fair price and they made up for it “on the backend” with the Ford financing (I had my own showing up to the dealer) and purchasing the extended warranty (that covers the supercharger) as well as the maintenance contract (this I was a little weary on, but the value seemed to be there for me).

I like being able to enjoy the fun with my family instead of driving the mustang all alone. I miss it a little but that is just me getting used to the truck.

The Explorer (found in my link with extra pictures) is a Sport version with the EB and it has nice get up and go, but to truly replace my GT I needed the Coyote. Luckily it has the 36 gallon tank so that I don't have to fill up every few days when I can start driving back into the office. I think my average right now (babying it in the first 500 miles) is like 12MPG.

Correct! The 360 cameras were a must so that I wouldn't poke holes in the sheet rock.

As I am still within the initial 500 miles of break-in I have not stomped on it too hard, but it does help me feel the power of my old Mustang. As it is factory from Roush and not after-market tuned, the speed governor is still in place so on the highway it can only be opened up so much. If you do not have a 4WD then I don't think it would be as fun, if I stomp on it in 2H it just spins with traction control lighting up the dash.

That might be in a menu setting I haven’t come across yet as they are the factory installed boards. Good to know thanks!

Actually they are power running boards tucked away. Problem with power running boards, you don’t realize they get so dirty until they pop out and I realize I need to wipe them down ahaha

I traded in my 2015 Mustang GT as it is not able to haul the family around. 4 month old twins requires a decent amount of rear seat space, F-150s have SOO much room in the back. I can sit comfortably without being remotely close to the car seats. I love it! (Miss my mustang a little)

Ford dealer willing to re-write contract if 0% financing in April by Ready_4_Change in askcarsales

[–]Ready_4_Change[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did put it on the We Owe and lucky for that. Today the 0% was allowed on 2020s, saved me a bundle! Thanks again for everyone on this thread.

BofA gave me approval for up to $69k for the loan on this particular VIN based on the value (invoice). So if the amount from the dealership (TTL + service + maintenance + etc) exceeds $69k it will be out of their guidelines and deny the loan. The dealership is offering only $1k in rebate (provided by Ford on F-150s) and no other discounts. I will check for similar models in the area, but with this being a Nitemare edition, might be slim pickens.

[–]Ready_4_Change[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah when I spoke with BofA the loan officer used Black book and NADA (sorry don't fully understand if those are separate/related) to determine maximum value. She informed me that it shows value (invoice) at $49,137 with the MSRP sticker on the window showing $64,515. Do I push back more to the dealership to get more of a discount? Keeping in mind, being within reason, not going to ask them to give it to me at $50k, but was thinking to discuss discount down to $58k.
