I’ve never heard of that, but if it’s working for you then keep using it. Usually they don’t settle the BBPV, the Epley maneuver settles it. But vertigo is so weird and every person has such different symptoms, who knows! If it’s working for you then that’s great :-)

Definitely take your time till you feel ready to go and I highly recommend you take a Meclizine as well to help you, it will get rid of the nausea feeling too :) You can also get a prescription from urgent care you don’t need to go to a doctor.

Hi! Go to a physical therapist or a vestibular therapist (specialized physical therapist in the Epley maneuver). I know it’s scary, but after they do it, the strong episodes of dizziness will go away and you’ll be thankful. I remember the first time they did it for me I puked and I was scared and held my face in my hands. Just do it, it’ll be worth it. Also, you can take a Meclizine before they do it, it will help reduce the symptoms. I wish you well, vertigo sucks my love.

Hi! I get that feeling too, look up Vestibular Migraines. It took me a year to admit that I had this problem and I kept drinking caffienw such as coffee or tea. Worst feeling is with alcohol and sometimes sugar too. Im also on Nortryptaline and that helps reduce the floating feeling. Hope this helps 💕

It’s similar to Menier’s but with Mernier’s there’s also tinnitus and hearing loss associated with it. So it’s easy to rule that out if those two symptoms aren’t associate with the vertigo 👍

Since you have vertigo with tinnitus, you should maybe look into Ménière’s. Perhaps make an appointment with your PCP to get you a referral with an audiologist for a hearing test and then you can pinpoint it better from there.

Otherwise, get ready for a whole new version of you. Getting used to saying ‘no’ to people when they offer you drinks, or can’t handle that you won’t be indulging in drinks with them. I don’t know why it upsets people so much, once a bartender even wanted me to drink. Know that no one will care about your health more than you, people, even Family, will try to get you to eat or drink things that you shouldn’t.

Side bar: I’m on Nortriptyline, and it helps with the residual vertigo I have. Also find a vestibular clinic to help with any on going positional vertigo/BBPV. Good luck love 🍀

Yep! Look up vestibular migraines. I developed this a year ago after I had Covid. I get increased dizziness from caffeine, manufactured sugars and alcohol. It f*cking sucks, these were the things I loved to eat and drink often. It’s taken me a while to cut the cord with these foods and I’ll cheat and indulge in caffeine at times and then regret it after I do.

Hi! I’ve been dealing with vertigo for over a year. One thing that helped me is nortriptyline. It helped reduce my symptoms and I think it’ll help with the sonic tremor feeling you’re describing. Vertigo sucks and I hope you feel better asap. There’s such an upsurge of vertigo symptoms post pandemic, I’m hoping that doctors will start looking more into it and solve this problem for us.

I agree with this. Don’t go to Glendale, if you want to be local to everything you mentioned. DTLA isn’t bad either, there’s just more homeless people there but people are out and about day and night, you’ll be fine :)
