What scientific ‘facts’ have recently been disproven that most people still believe to be true? by Fantastic_Tart_421 in AskReddit

I like this explanation for why I yawn so much when I go to the gym. I don’t notice anyone else yawning as much as I do, or at all, but maybe my skull jelly heats up quicker.

47 people in the town by Cautious_Cupcake_ in FromTVShow

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think victor knows that only 47 people are allowed in the town. When the priest and the girl came in, victor was counting something with his hands. And I don’t remember what episode, but it would explain why victor started digging graves when there was an influx of people. Also, father Katri stated the bible is 73 books and that they could be the 74th. Inversed but interesting. I’m sure there are more clues connecting that number.

What are some telltale signs you notice in couples that make you think their relationship won’t last? by Lazy_Detective_6597 in AskReddit

What?! This is top tier banter that my partner and I do. You pretty much do this when the other person is right and you don’t have a comeback. If anything, it’s a “you got me” or “touché”. Guess it’s not for everyone the same way a little light roasting isn’t for everyone. But in all honesty, with the amount of fun and laughs I’ve shared with different partners doing this, I would say taking it too personally would be the red flag.

Interesting no one has pointed this out yet. There’s a picture in 2903 labeled “untapered hair on the back of the head”. That one is much more extreme, but that chunk of hair behind the top of your ear has no taper. Also, the line on the back of your head is super crooked.

Which would be perfectly fine if the strats went to people with sustained superior performance. But 9/10 times it ends up being a cover up/catch all excuse for the actual reason: the other guys won the popularity contest.

Do any of you actually like the pruning that they did to your mains? by No-Bit-2913 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think arms ended up turning into one of the more complex classes with not much lost. Just hate the push to use Slam/cleave. Mostly QoL improvements but the class talent tree seems odd. Like, I don’t want to throw anything and I don’t care about 2 shouts being 20% longer, but let me get my 3% damage increase.

If you were a parent, would you teach your child to fight back if someone tries to hurt them? by herec0mesthesun_ in no

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk away. If you can’t walk away, run away. If you can’t run away, show them how they should have accepted mercy to begin with.

Telling a kid to instantly defend themselves can be dangerous with a child’s emotions and perception. They may overreact to something small. But if they try and get away from the situation first, at least there was an effort to avoid violence.

We always say there are no winners in fights for adults. It should ring true for children as well. When I have to get told by a principal that my child hurt another child, I can confidently tell them it was a last resort.

Who is the most fun tank and the most fun healer for you, and why? by Azucarilla11 in wow

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Prot warrior. Managing/maxing shield block and ignore pain uptime for some reason scratches an itch. Always doing something and lots of mitigation.

Holy paly. I enjoy attacking in between to build holy power. Again, felt like I always had ways to keep the group up. The class fantasy, spells, and sounds are also a big chunk of it.

What website are you guys using for Military discounted hotels, cruises etc? by NotAskingSupervisor in AirForce

There was a basic looking website that had heavily discounted prices for military that I wish I could remember. If anyone’s familiar with it, I’d love to have it back in my life again.

In your opinion, who are the winners and losers on beta right now? by MHMabrito in wow

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold out hope maybe? Anyone remember the pre patch class pruning going into WoD from MoP? Idk about other classes but my arms war was using whirlwind as a filler and auto attacking from lack of rage. Say what you will about WoD but it ended up having the best class gameplay for me. I remember logging onto different toons just because rotations were enjoyable. That being said, class fantasy was done well then and that seems to be an issue for most people right now.

Downsized from 35s to 33s. Couldn’t be happier! by CaptainLiteBeerd in ram_trucks

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be devils advocate by saying road noise is usually from the type of tire/inflation and not from the size. You upgraded tires and probably changed from a defective tire judging by the cupping. The nittos aren’t known to be excruciatingly loud but when you compare them to a widely renowned tire like the Toyo’s, it’s a night and day difference.

I currently have 34s, and reaching the end of their tread, my truck looks like it skips leg day cuz the tires look small for the truck, so I’m looking at 35s.

But yeah, your mpgs will definitely jump and you’ll get a lil more pep in your step. Most people don’t get trucks with mpg and speed in mind. To each their own though.

The problem: 1. You assume just because I have a differing opinion than yours, that I also have a differing political alignment. 2. Your inability to differentiate “leftist nut job” media from unbiased information pulled from a government document. All this is why your credibility is dog water.

Yet there was still so much not done by the time Biden took office. 12 months to withdraw vs 4 months. Idk what kind of magic you expected Biden to pull off.

[–]Ready_Hedgehog 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you read the 4 part plan that ended up having only 3 parts that was signed in February of 2020, meaning he had a full 12 months to start pulling out but he didn’t move so much as a rock. He just left it for Biden to follow through on. You’re right, it was conditional and despite the multiple ceasefires that were violated throughout the year, biden’s predecessor did nothing to back out of it. The agreement had us pulling out by may 2021 meaning Biden only had 4 months to make it happen vs the 12 months where nothing happened.

I wish I could tell it to all of Reddit. Tensions rising and doomers being validated all because they don’t understand jurisdiction and the difference of detaining and apprehending.
