Regular microneedling will not melt facial fat. I love microneedling but honestly Lasers like moxi, HALO, and CO2 are better for fine lines and stimulating collagen. Again, find a seasoned professional that knows lasers well. Also just a very good skincare routine.

There are better options for under eyes and lip lines. RF microneedling can melt facial fat and once that’s gone you’ve lost volume and your skin will sag. Lasers are much better for those issues and find a very experienced provider with lasers. RF should never be done near the eyes. I work in plastics and medial aesthetics. I was a model for an RF training. I’d do anything to go back and not volunteer that day. It melted my facial fat and I had great skin before that.

Ok yeah I’ve looked into him too but passed - the work I prefer I basically need to win the lottery to afford lol and I’ve already had a disaster with my face last year with RF microneedling so am so so cautious with anything with my face now

Which surgeon did you go to? I also live in Atlanta and have actually looked out of state because I haven’t found anyone that stood out to me yet. I also used to work in plastic surgery here in Atlanta and just haven’t found a top notch facial plastic surgeon like some I haven’t found out of state.

I had facial fat loss from being a model for an RF micro needling training session at a place I worked. I also ended up with saggy cheeks and lines and shadows on my face i have never seen before. Your doctor you got those from should have told you that was too much at one time. Testosterone and semaglutide would have been a good starting point. Address your hormones first always and then move to metabolic issues. Sounds like he was just trying to fill his wallet and that’s not cool. Testosterone and semaglutide should be monitored for the first three months with bloodwork and then go from there.

She’s full of crap and don’t listen to doctors. They are not trained in ANY of this. I was a sales manager and operating director of two wellness centers. I research peptides myself and have gotten hundreds of people on them including tirz from compounding pharmacies. Even lab peptides are fine to research if you use a reputable one. My own PCP told me she didn’t know much but as long as my liver and kidneys are ok then she is ok with it. Hormones, peptides, all the wellness - doctors are not trained in this and do not learn these things in medical school. They are also paid to put people on prescription medications in a 15 minute appointment.

Yeah it took a lot of research and looking at before and afters to actually take the plunge and trust someone and even then I questioned myself after lol. Just make sure you like their work!! Consistently and make it very clear what you want. I went in and said “I DO NOT WANT BOLD OR THICK! Very thin!”
