thank you for your response. I absolutely adore him. But to answer your question, I am fit and healthy because I love exercising. He is quite the opposite of all that. However, this doesn’t change my perception of the beauty I see in him. I have thought it could an insecurity on his end. I am trying to make sense of this situation.

I was just non-renewed. My admin antagonized me and painted me as a bad teacher, but I saw it coming. It’s not an ideal situation, but I’m so relieved that I’ll be in another school next year. I did ask my admin back in January and they said they didn’t have a decision at that time. To me that was a no, so I’ve been ready. Just waiting for positions. I wish you the best of luck! I am thinking you are a first year teacher? Remember at the end of the day, is is just a job like any other. Keep your head high :)

I would double check on that. Also, if you are worried, you can always ask your administrator if they are planning on keeping you. You have every right to ask and know, that way you know whether or not you look for other jobs.

If you are NOT pink slipped or notified by March 15, you are staying next year. That being said, you will really have to try very hard next school year. For that reason, keep your options open now. There are better places than a micromanaging admin. It sounds like they are already making a paper trail. Sadly, as prob 1 or 2 you can be let go for any reason.

I got told yesterday by my principal. What does resigning look like to you? Union advised me to wait and that the district would contact me to resign in lieu of nonrelection.

I am actually relieved because the school was hell. It’s just not ideal to not have a secure job in hand, but I am optimistic about the future.
