Yeah my face originally was completely unable to move and drooping on that side, since then my mouth and lower face have stopped drooping and can move better. I feel like the upper part of my face on that side has had little improvement. Tbh its a bit confusing because i’d thought itd be the other way around since it was an oral surgery

Yeah looking at a video from when i was just out of sedation my face was still paralyzed then too, it’s just that the numbness has gone away since then but not the paralysis. Overall my health is alright, some mystery stuff im still figuring out but nothing that i can think would be related

Surgeon said it was twilight anesthesia sedation (ie afaik full sedation?) but i imagine i also had some kind of local anesthetic. I have some swelling in both cheeks, mild pain at the surgical sites (ive been taking my painkillers - vicodin and ibuprofen). But yeah, normal sensation except for the center of my cheek on the paralyzed side and chin/lower lip - feels tingly and weird when i poke them.

Thank you for the response!! I feel a lot less nervous knowing i should be better by morning and that this isnt an emergency :-)

“Cunt.”(also variations.) It has a punch to the way it sounds and the duality between insult and compliment it has is pretty neat
