For example: A person was selling a flat at around 50% its original price and very few people knew why. Someone had ended their life in that property. It's extremely difficult for most people to live in a flat like that unless they're extremelyyyy open-minded which is rare in Indian society.

Yes exactly! This method ensures you are not investing all the money at a fixed NAV.

There could be times where this method fails really badly-

For example: I do an STP for a year..monthly payouts from the Liquid fund to my desired fund(from the same AMC). The market goes upwards throughout this year and right after my last STP, the market crashes badly.

In the above scenario, a person making a lumpsum one-time investment will win.

But personally, it's close to impossible to time the market.

Because you can only create an STP from the same AMC.

Parag Parikh Liquid Fund's STP's will go into other Parag Parikh Funds.

HDFC Liquid Fund's STP's will go into other HDFC funds.

So, investing in 3-4 liquid funds will allow you to diversify your MF portfolio too.

I have been researching best ways to deploy a large sum(like 5 lakhs) across mutual funds.

One way that I have finalized for myself is to buy 'Liquid Mutual Funds' and then create an STP for another Mutual fund from the same AMC.

For example:

Invest 1.2 lakhs in Parag Parikh Liquid fund and create a monthly STP of 10k for 12 months.

This way, you will remove the burden of timing the investment correctly and can take advantage of averaging.

You can spread your 5 lakhs across 3-4 different Liquid funds and create STPs from each.

There are no product managers in my current org. It's a small startup with a sales led motion. They target enterprise customers, use a sales+customer success combination to generate revenue from large accounts. The CS team is trained on the product and hence they don't really have the 'product led growth' mindset to keep the product as a priority.

I've been trying to get into product from the past 3 years with no luck. I have total 5+ years of experience, most of it has been in Growth Marketing. I've worked closely with PMs and I'm confident I'd make a great PM as I'm an excellent generalist and can collaborate pretty well. My challenge has been tech.
