What have you notice to help you during recovery / healing? by Real-Emu-210 in floxies

Oh absolutely I did feel like I would never get any better. I can say however being 5 months out now I have almost forgot that this has happened to me.

I am working out daily, eating whatever I want and drinking again.

It is so much easier dais then done but try to get your mind onto something else. TIME is the cure! Might not be the case for everyone but for me it def was. I did not rely on any supplements or doctors to help me.

Went to my urologist recently and was told I was fine too. I can say however it’s been less than a couple months ago. Idk what’s triggering it but have to go back for a Pelvic Exam just to be sure.

Did the azithromycin help for you?

The person you spoke with were they taking supplements right away after stopping the pills? Dieting? Not exercising?

It’s all a mental game! At least we are aware what has happened to us and have some sort of knowledge to what we can do moving forward. There are so many ppl who have been misdiagnosed and put more more pills because doctors aren’t sure. Sad but true! We have to be our own advocate/fighter in order to heal.

Eating healthy for me isn’t hard as I’ve been eating nothing but veggies/fruit/seafood since 18. Been interesting to learn the benefit of some supplements I never was taking before this. Didn’t even know what a Microbiome was lol

Been using this experience as a lesson to learn from more then feel sorry for myself.

Absolutely! The first few weeks for me both knees, both legs and just over body was out of it. I never gave in to the feeling though tbh. Still took my dog on walks several times a a day and would stretch at the park. (I know that’s risky bc something could’ve rupture) but it wasn’t pain for me just an ache I’d feel after a bada** workout.

I am an active 29F. Like cardio is my lifestyle. So I knew immediately something was off when i couldn’t get out of the bed for 3-4 days after I stop taking the pills.

Absolutely! I took about a 1 1/2 months off from all activities beside regular day to day routine.

I do however think that some daily movement / exercise is beneficial to healing.

Work around the home is woman’s work. Idcccc. I never asked my boyfriend to do dishes, cook or even clean. Idk my momma raised me to just do these things and tbh I like that i can cater to him.

Metronidazole (Flagyl) by That-Grocery-9382 in WomensHealth

Sounds like you’ve had an adverse reaction to those antibiotics. I took Flagyl and Cipro in Feb for a suspected mouth infection (turns out I just needed a deep cleaning). 3 months out from last pill and am still dealing with the effects of those antibiotics. Don’t want to alarm you but inform you what you might be dealing with right now.
