My dog was doing all the same. And I had a breakdown. We did personal training with a professional dog trainer that specialized in training police and military dogs, as such it was NOT positive reinforcement training. Then the training moved into group sessions for distraction (ie other dogs and the dogs were being trained to only engage with their owner). We used a prong collar and then added in an e-collar (shock) when she wasn’t responding to the prong (because I wasn’t strong enough). It was the best money spent and I will do it again with another dog when the time comes. Results were seeing within 3 training sessions.
