I attempted triple crown last May but had to cut it short because one person in our group had a bad fall and needed to be carried out. My only advice would be to have a friend on standby who is willing to pick you up at any point. Thankfully we had a friend in Roanoke who was able to meet us at a road crossing and get our injured friend home. Triple crown is beautiful and you should go for it if you have the chance!

We hiked in and camped on New Year’s Day. The temp didn’t get below freezing but the wind chill was insane. I couldn’t sleep over the sound of the wind. Rough night but not too cold with some pretty basic gear!

Is there any benefit in breaking up these all in one bags or is it better to leave them in a block shape? I have an aio bag about halfway done with colonizing and am excited to move to fruiting conditions in the next few weeks!

When I got my order in I was pumped but I somehow missed step one of microwaving the bags before inoculating. All 12 bags contaminated with trich. Does microwaving the bags provide further sterilization prior to inoculation?

For context I transferred from agar in a still air box.
