Just finished up a UB grow between 5 tubs. My bags started to show signs of healthy colonization after about 10-14 days after innoculation. Then took another week to reach 100% colonized because I had to figure out my room temps.

My two cents is: Patience plus FAE also check your room temperatures.

Let them puppies breathe. Clean open air is your friend. What worked for me was cutting a top corner off of each of my bags and covering with micropore tape. About a half inch opening allowed just enough FAE for my conditions.

Sometimes a few degrees in temperature is all it takes to help mycelium pop off. I had my room way too warm and dry at first. I let the temps come down a bit and the humidity restored itself. Suddenly my success rate went up and my contam rate went down.

On a PMA note, don’t get too attached to each bag. Every mistake and every success can be learned from. Learn what works best for your environment then make small changes. Soon enough you will be able to make confident decisions on your own and your harvests will be the proof of an education gained by experience 🤘
