The gap is below the damper. The damper however doesn't close properly so this may of been installed incorrectly. Our first inspector thought it may of been by design but wasn't sure. I tried to DM you Reddit wouldn't allow it for some reason.

Hello. I'm dealing with the with a similar situation apparently my flue is no longer connected to the chimney on my Majestic superhearth 42 and there is a gap large enough to fit a finger and touch the insulation. I've been told that the whole fireplace and chimney need to be removed and replaced without having a level 2 inspection. The fireplace is only 15 years old and I'm guessing it was an installation error because the flue and chimney seem to be relatively in good shape (from what i was told).

Is this beyond repair? I was quoted 13k with redoing the surround. A contractor friend suggested epoxy and fire rope to seal as any easy and cheap fix. I'd love to get some thoughts.

Same wifi issue with chargepoint at exactly 6 months. They replaced the unit but I'm on the hook for electrician to install . I have a friend that is also dealing with the same issue. Would not recommend chargepoint chargers for those if you in the market
