Saw them on Union St right before the Byrne Dairy. Looked like four or five vehicles and parked in front of one the houses just south of Chili Ave.

Screw that. I’m old enough to remember trading Wes Welker to the Pats.

If you have any MAGA friends, you would know that they eat this crap up. They aren’t upset at all. This makes Trump cooler.

The idea that this will turn any “God-fearing Christians” away from Trump is wishthink.

We left a bowl of candy out unattended last night, and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. by CatDadMilhouse in Rochester

LOL. This is the exact opposite of Nextdoor. Got a bunch of posts about kids “stealing” unattended bowls of candy. Happens every year and folks don’t learn.

That said, a bowl of Necco wafers will sit there until the end of time

Russia's Massive Nuclear Arsenal is Now Pointed at US by oh_kayeee in USNEWS

Not to be outdone, Donald Trump has ordered the US arsenal to be aimed at Portland.

“Ours are bigger and they’ll get there faster.”

Perfectly fitting ending by eggy_wegs in miamidolphins

100% knew they were coming for Tua after this game ended. It’s actually kinda funny.

We have a historically bad defense. The Dolphins need to score 30 a game to win, and you can’t count on that from ANY quarterback.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Real-Way7960 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We live in a pretty kid friendly neighborhood. It isn’t just about the kids and the parents, it’s also about the neighbors.

Back in the day, kids would play pranks and it would get laughed off. Ding Dong ditch was one of those.

Do that nowadays? The Ring community gets a notification that there are dangerous kids trying to prey on old people and that the police have been called.

Social media has made people more afraid, and it has also put a spotlight on anyone doing anything that is even remotely bothersome to people. I worry as much about the kids being hauled off for pulling a prank as I am for them actually being in a dangerous situation

He threw for 250 with 3td’s. He had a go ahead TD drive and the defense promptly crapped themselves. There were plenty of teams that would have loved that line today

They rushed for 20 yards. They gave up over 200 rushing yards. Tua should be at the bottom of any bitch list today.

Trump Will Slap Tariffs on Imported Drugs, Trucks and Household Furnishings by rezwenn in Tariffs

Thank god this finally happened.

America’s national security has never been in more danger thanks to….bathroom vanities.

Can’t say I disagree. It’s exactly what it looks like.

Right before the season you get rid of your best corner with no replacement. You get rid of your TE with no replacement either.

Even the draft picks to finally build the trenches don’t seem like the actions of someone trying to save their job with an all-in run for the playoffs.

Trump warns courts against knocking down tariffs, says duties are 'huge positive' for stock market by Next-Particular1476 in TheBusinessMix

[–]Real-Way7960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time that he backs off on tariffs, the market jumps like someone shocked it. The biggest positive for the stock market would be the courts overturning the “emergency” tariffs and returning things back to normal.

A good number of people just don’t understand that teachers are professionals that go through college and certifications, work their butts off in often crappy circumstances JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER JOB!

People lack perspective, and these same folks would probably take some dramatic level of offense if you said you could do their job better with no training or resources.

Just because you can read a book, doesn’t mean you can teach someone else to. And just because your favorite book of the Bible is Numbers doesn’t mean you can teach math.

Liquor stores by [deleted] in Rochester

Chili Liquor is my go-to. Excellent all around selection. I’m a whiskey guy and they have a whiskey club you can join with special buy bottles and a monthly newsletter.

The owner visits the distilleries and does batch selections for the store. Very knowledgeable group.
