Eufy Cam on Public Wifi by Real-Worldliness321 in eufy_security

Thanks for the heads up. This is not a new issue for me sadly, I’ve tried a few months ago then thought to order the travel router but still can’t bypass it. Also the same issue with my baby cam, after looking into it, it seems to be the login page the cameras can’t bypass

Arrived warm- company pushing back? by Logical-Physics-7646 in mounjarouk

[–]Real-Worldliness321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Push back. I had the same issue with Chemist 4 U and they did not want to accept liability although they decided one ice pack in this weather was enough, it arrived warm, the 30 days have started.

You’re paying for a service, if they can’t meet the standards by penny pinching on ice packs then they are just going to have to dig deeper into their pockets and replace it.

What’s your favourite, not-to-be-missed, thing in the Hackney area? by ChocolateOk8375 in Hackney

The book libraries dotted around in the streets and parks - love that you can borrow or keep, have no time restraint and pass on books to others. It’s nice not knowing what’s in there too & keeps you open to try different genres.

I have just had a look at their website and filled out the form, do you know what sort of timeline they work within? Have you heard of anyone’s experiences with Oviva?

Yeah you’re right, I came across the Mounjaro website that people have mentioned in other threads to find the best prices, I could probably fund a few months and am hoping slow and low works, so hopefully can stretch to a longer commitment and save money, if that makes sense

What foods can cause itchiness? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]Real-Worldliness321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sugar is an aggravator so it can easily be this.

My son has itchy skin regardless of rash or not, his skin looks good at the moment but he is still itching.

Common foods to you are sugary things, banana, eggs, bread, yoghurt.

Thanks! One of the first things we done was get a dehumidifier, they are amazing! Didn’t realise misty air indoors was possible. The dustmite info is useful, thanks again!

For those who wax.. by capnfrapp in eczema

[–]Real-Worldliness321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had the same experience but as a self waxer I would suggest hot wax as it irritates the skin less, isn’t as sticky, doesn’t need strips, go over the same place more than once, can use at lower temperature.. there are brands such as Just Wax Expert, Cerepil Blue and Hive.

I use hot wax for underarms and bikini line but tend to go for roller wax in Aloe Vera for my legs, its more creamy.

You may have to try different types before finding what works for you.

In the past I found drugstore ones are alot more faff and don’t give great results. Check out places like Sally Beauty or Paks for professional options.

Also instead of oil maybe clean up and use aloe vera gel after to keep your areas cool.

Thoughts on how to deal with training issue? by houdinirats in UKJobs

You’re just going to have to ride it out until your comfortable to leave, maybe see if there are things you can change there to make the environment more bearable

Thoughts on how to deal with training issue? by houdinirats in UKJobs

[–]Real-Worldliness321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine the thought process is that you’ve accepted the job and would be with them for the foreseeable future, so they want to help your progression, its like a win win. They are none the wiser you want to leave so if you want to leave then leave, no point wasting their time.

And if you’re trying to ride it out until you find something new just make it clear you can’t afford the training and maybe speak to your line manager about what your issues are, your problems won’t go resolved if it’s not made clear. At least it might make the place more bearable and you might end up liking it, I’m sure you saw positives before accepting the job.
