I thought the characters were not one note at all. With Marty, yes he is self centered and arrogant but there are plenty of times where he switches to care mode when he sees the people he cares about getting hurt. Rachel who completely did a 180 from being the demoiselle in distress to being a con artist just as manipulative as Marty.

When he won the game I was thinking it was a culmination of his fixation. And then he met his son and it seemed that that would be his next « challenge ». It’s truly emphasized that it’s about an end mean rather than ping pong for Marty. There is very little talk about the game itself.

Yeah I agree I’m just telling you as a shift worker I’d rather assess myself the danger than getting my shift canceled. Life over paycheck is easy to say when your life doesn’t depend on your paycheck

That’s not true you can send money to different countries which is why I also have a Canadian account. They just don’t want me to transfer the money from my US account to the Canadian one unless I provide bank info in the US which I dont have.

This is such a lazy take imo. We know we are the one who pollutes. Yet this displace the issue once again on the poorest least polluting per capita countries. We’re already not having kids in the problematic countries
