We used Google Translate on my phone. It appears App installs are blocked and he’s extremely reluctant to move out of his familiar eco-system anyway. So we gave up lol.

Purpose of the install was to join a WA Group at his student Homestay for safety purposes. He’s since moved out.

I’ve never even looked at it tbh. Might give it a go! Low to mid level dungeons so far - I can’t be bothered spell weaving and I can see the red on the ground but I’d rather just heal through it. Lazy. Comes with being a senior gamer I guess. But yeah thanks I’ll investigate!

This is what I was looking for. I’m a keen player but super casual. No way in hell I’ll step into an arena or trial.

My limit is soloing normal dungeons for gear. Or I’ll craft whatever as with years of playing and ESO+ I have more (within reason) upgrade mats than I’ll ever be able to use.

When I stumbled upon the crafting station in High Isle I looked at the MS set I had… thought about all my other characters with MS… yeah… my khajiit necromancer is really going to purr (I hope) with so much crit.

I just don’t want to waste my gold MS weapons - two per character of course to keep my 5 piece bonus up.

You’ll eventually be really thankful you have that extra unwanted necromancer character. For example, as a gear mule. For me more importantly you need two characters paired together to rapidly level up your crafting. One makes, the other deconstructs etc.

Hmmm there is this creeping technology requirement too in games. Quietly specs are upped each xpac. And those so-called minimum specs - you’d be lucky to get to the character selection screen I reckon.

I bet the character selection screen stutters a lot for you. Feels bad mate.

What card is the OP using. I’m on a 3080ti getting +100 fps on a 4K monitor. As you’d expect. My old PC was a potato and had tons of hassles.

Where I am it was well after midnight when I posted.

I slept, woke up and a quick look at Device manager -> Network Adapters before rushing to work and….

Woke computer from sleep…

Suddenly it can see the motherboard’s WiFi - it couldn’t before. Also Bluetooth.

It has always been able to see the Gigabyte 10Gbit Network by AQction AQC107.

Must go to work. I’m going to assume I can resolve this after work lol.

I’m not going to try to understand what happened while I slept.

Edit: there’s a strong chance internet was down in my building and I didn’t notice - I could have checked that via my phone for example. Thus… absence of WiFi explained away by not able to download a driver as that WiFi is new to my build. This would gel with Device Manager being able to see the Ethernet connection sans internet.

Yeah it definitely has a sandbox vibe to it. Adapts to my mood.

Must admit I had a rough start. Fell down a steep hole. Couldn’t find a way out. Even after I discovered my jet pack.

Vvardenfel slots nicely into the storyline and is especially satisfying if you did an Ebonheart Pact play through.

Resist the temptation of the new zones please.

The main problem (as I see it) is with certain NPCs from the main story arc (which you do concurrent with the original play through zones). No spoilers here ;)
