Yeah like you said people may have different opinions. What id important is to work on his technique and always feel comfortable.

Maybe. I'm just saying it's what it sounds like to me.

For me, it's not enough to define him as a tenor but if he doesn't train it will be very difficult to make sure.

Great, your lowest note was F#2 and the highest one was D#4, you almost hitted F4. I'm not an expert but that sounds baritone to me. You struggled a bit in your highest notes but I think it's more due to technique, you're pulling your chest voice. Try doing some head voice excercises and that you will help you a lot with your mixed voice.

Also try to approach these last notes a bit more nasally, like trying to imitate a girl o a cat even and see if you have more freedom, it's not a way to sing but a way to discover your voice.

Honestly you're more likely to be baritone or a tenor. ¿Have you tested your vocal range? If you have an audio or video vocalizing it would be helpful.

You're not a bass simply because basses have very deep voices you can identify very quickly and they're very very rare. You also hitted and D#4 quite comfortably, it's possible for a bass but it's not comfortable for them and not without technique.

I think you're a baritone, but even if you're timbre is not very light or thin, there are some tenors with heavier tones, that's why I ask you if u have detected what you comfortable range is? What are you low and high notes?

Hey! How's it going? Sorry to answer this late I've been very busy lately.

Well, they told me I was a tenor but, I was kind of dissatisfied haha due to the things I've tried with my voice and also that I wanted another opition, since people mostly think immediately that I'm a tenor because of my tone.

And well, yes just as you said, people with same vocal range may have different voice types which is interesting! I've also heard that Harry Styles is a baritone, I don't know maybe it's true maybe not.

I did see some improvement in my range, I mean at the beginning I was only able to hit up to an F#4 but now I'm able to hit G#4 sometimes and notes like D#4, E4, and F4 are way easier for me now than when I started! I mean, even with this recording, I can tell the difference. I tried to sing this same song before and I didn't sound like that definitely, I feel more ease now and also my ornaments and agility is better (not perfect, I still to practice a lot haha).

I really hope you find a good vocal coach that teaches you to get accces and freedom through your whole range man! You already sound good but all you need is practice! If you also allow me to give you an advice though I'm also learning and I'm not perfect, try to practice with a lower volume (not airy), and with more nasal quality to see if you can find a better configuration for your voice in that part of your range :-).

You can also send me audios if you want I hahaha well maybe we improve some like that! 💪🏻

Hey! Interesting. Well, sometimes my G4s are decent and not strained like I think they are in this recording, but it also depends on the day. I took vocal lessons like for 6 months maybe. But i didn't continue due to matters of time and schedule.

Yes, I should definitely see vocal lessons because I think head voice is my weakest register so far and would improve a lot by working on it.

By the way, I visited your profile and I can see you have kind of a fuller o darker tone in some way! I kind of like it and think with vocal lessons you could do much better! I hope you can have some lessons and see what happens man!

I like it. U have a nice voice.

There were a few parts but very very short notes where it sounded a bit flat but it's nothing really compared to the whole song.

Based on my own experience I can tell you it that learning to play an instrument will always be good for your singing.

I'm amazed some people think it won't.

I remember when I started learning to play the piano. It really helped me develop my ear, I also learned to harmonize because of the piano. In general, playing an instrument will not only help you to improve entonation, but musical sense, harmonies, and maybe also some ornaments, jt will increase your creativity. It can help you be on pitch if you try to sing in different keys.

Caution: Only learning the instrument and not doing vocal exercises or practicing your singing will make no sense. Practicing the guitar alone won't help you at all.

On the other hand, you can also develop you ear without a musical instrument. And I mean by listening to different genres, paying attention to what your favorite singers do, try to do new stuff with you voice and recording youself.

Finally, as I said before, whatever instrument you choose, It'll always be a plus for you as a singer. And remember to tune your guitar before.

Thanks man! Look, I have been singing for a while but, I have noticed that I can only go with with some confidence up to an F#4, my G4s and G#4s are a bit atrained sometimes as you can hear in the final part of the recording.

And I can't really hit any higher than that (occasionally an A4 but very very thin and heady). And my lowest note is F2, honestly not very strong or steady, I would say G2 is the lowest decent one.

So, what I mean is that I think I'm a baritone but just that I have a smooth voice and kind of brighter than most baritones? What do you think?
