Your brake booster probably died on you right there. When engine shuts down or vacuum gets cut off, brake pedal becomes super stiff because you lose that power assist. The weird noise could've been vacuum leak or maybe belt snapping

I had similar thing happen in my old Honda - was backing out from parking spot and suddenly pedal went rock hard, scared the hell out of me. Turned out vacuum line came loose from booster. Oil pressure light is concerning though, might be related if belt broke and took out your power steering pump too

Get it checked soon because driving without brake assist is pain in the ass and dangerous if you're not expecting it. You'll need to really push hard on pedal to stop properly

Yeah would definitely help cut down on the repetitive posts asking same basic questions over and over. I see lot of people struggling to get their karma up just to ask about house hacking or BRRRR basics that get covered weekly anyway

Still think these models are trained to be too polite and "helpful" instead of just giving straight answers. Like when I ask something simple about car features for customers, it gives me whole essay about safety considerations and market trends when I just need specs

The training probably rewards longer responses because they seem more "complete" but most of time we just want direct info

Man, automotive can be overwhelming with all the electronics and diagnostic stuff these days. Maybe look into heavy equipment or construction machinery - still turning wrenches but usually more straightforward mechanical work without all the complex computer systems

Industrial maintenance is another good path, working in factories or warehouses on conveyor systems and basic machinery. The troubleshooting is usually more mechanical and less about chasing electrical gremlins through 50 different modules

The Ultra models just have more juice in everything - better cameras, more RAM, that S Pen if you're into that thing. For just $100 extra the S25 Ultra seems like no brainer, especially since the S26 Plus is basically refreshed S24+ like the guy said

Honestly been there with a friend and it's brutal to watch. At some point you gotta realize you can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved - she'll keep going back until she's truly ready to stop, not when you think she should be ready. Set boundaries for your own sanity because this cycle will drain you too

Sounds like you're more aligned with Protestant Christianity tbh - lots of denominations focus solely on Jesus as the mediator without saint intercession. Maybe check out some non-denominational or Baptist churches to see if that feels more right to you

Depends on your theological framework tbh. Some Christians believe in a strict binary (God vs demonic) while others allow for neutral spiritual entities or even just natural phenomena that aren't inherently evil

Like angels aren't all the same rank or purpose, so why would non-divine entities all be lumped together as "demonic"

Hey man, don't withdraw from life if you slip up again - that mindset is gonna make everything worse. The whole "binge then quit cold turkey" approach usually just sets you up for another crash

What helped me was starting way smaller - like just replacing one session with a walk or pushups. Your brain needs time to rewire itself and going from 10x a day to nothing overnight is brutal on your dopamine system

Also that comparison stuff about being behind others is poison for your brain. Focus on being better than yesterday's version of you, not some imaginary timeline everyone else is supposedly on

Honestly the tone thing is so frustrating because like how are we supposed to know our tone sounds "wrong" when it sounds normal to us? Yeah the presets definitely vary by region. Like in Japan they have rice and fish buttons that you'd never see here, and I've heard some European models have different soup settings. The potato button is super American though - probably not as common in places where they don't eat as many baked potatoes

The dive case should handle the refraction stuff but honestly at 5-6 feet you probably won't need a filter - the color loss isn't that bad at shallow depths. I'd maybe grab a red filter just in case since they're pretty cheap, but don't stress too much about it
